Well, I'll give credit to the government for making as dumb of a misstep as possible to crumble the leverage Air Canada thought they had and other major employers thought they would have in the future. The credit is in the same way I credit the PirateSoftware guy for being a lying narcissistic asshole that ended up propelling Stop Killing Games to its goal.

Still neither would have happened if important groups and the public hadn't stepped up in support.
