Did retail for 11 years and now started working at a beef slaughterhouse. We did a little tour of the main work floor and honestly working where you tear apart the creatures you're forced to deal with feels good after having gone so long where you can't even frown at assholes.

God I hated retail. One place I actually liked it though was my worst one funnily enough, it was in the ghetto and I had so many problems, including a boss who tried to withhold my paycheck before I threatened to sue his ass.

The only fun part about working in the ghetto is that if someone comes up with an attitude you give it right the fuck back. Its expected, people actually get mad if you fold over there.

Best day of my life was having a problem customer knock over a tray and me yelling at her to "GET THE FUCK OUT"

Had 3 other big dudes with me so I'm sure we looked a part. She grumbled and left, never heard anything about it
