Problem is then their wealth just gets passed down the line. You could keep going till there's nowhere for it to go, but people tend to yell at you when you bring up composting their kids (at least they did when I did it).

I mean I didn't start feeling any form of happiness starting from probably my teen years till I started going to therapy last year (I'm 30). Even now it's mostly fleeting and half the time I feel like I'm just masking when I'm around others.

Not in my lifetime or the lifetimes of my youngest family members. Bernie is a centrist and he's seen as too radical left.

Only ban I've ever gotten was a single day ban from some gaming community.

New Vegas and Celeste are the two games I have seen be the most popular games to break some eggs.

The only ones in my state that have a proven track record of not taking money from AIPAC (Cori Bush and Hartzell Gray) I can't vote for. Looking at all the other candidates that I can vote for, none of them have made any statements against Israel or AIPAC. While they may have ok ideas on getting universal healthcare and ridding us of Citizens United, they also never speak on overturning the ranked choice voting ban or working to destroy the electoral college.

Their plan is to run Harris again or boy Harris (aka Newsome).

That was one of the options for my gf and mine's vacation this summer, but we ultimately decided to do NYC instead. I do miss being in Cali.

Same with me (only a couple years less since I think my earliest account is from 2008). Was just playing Peak with some people and they said I doxxed myself with my username. Told them anyone that wants to find me is gonna have to dig cause it's a super common first and last name. There's even a hockey player with the name (legit got asked several times in the late 2000s/early 2010s if I was a hockey fan since I had the username).

Didn't they claim they caught the leader of antifa a month or 2 ago and it was like some random college kid?

Days? Gotta get that up to years/decades.

Remember violence is never the answer. Violence is the question and the answer is yes.

A friend was selling a bunch of DVDs so I bought some for my gf and some for me. I've never seen these 3 before, but I've heard amazing things about all of them.

This is just funny at this point. Yes they send every text in multiple languages which gets annoying when my phone goes off 8 times cause they want to tell people when someone is here to discuss benefits.

I've been getting more and more into films from the 60s with it being one of my favorite decades for movies. I've only seen around 30 films from the decade so I'll give my top and bottom 5 to help a bit.

Top 5:

  1. Psycho by Alfred Hitchcock
  2. Sound of Music by Robert Wise
  3. Harakiri by Masaki Kobayashi
  4. The Trial by Orson Welles
  5. West Side Story by Jerome Robbins and Robert Wise

Bottom 5:

  1. Blood of Dracula's Castle by Al Adamson
  2. You Only Live Twice by Lewis Gilbert
  3. Thunderball by Terence Young
  4. One Hundred and One Dalmatians by Wolfgang Reitherman, Clyde Geronimi, and Hamilton Luske
  5. Atragon by Ishiro Honda

I've already been recommended by friends to watch 2001 A Space Odyssey so I'm getting to that one soon. There's a couple oddball films I also have on my list to check out soonish, but wanted to know what else I was missing. As for big films I have seen and left out, yes I've seen High and Low, Charade, Easy Rider, and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.

Turn based games tended to be something I sort of stopped getting into as I got older. Despite really enjoying games that involve tons of strategy and thought like Hitman or 13 Sentinels Aegis Rim, I struggled more with games that are turn based. I've tried to get back into them with stuff like Pokemon and the occasional board game sim that I play with my friends, but I just know there's games out there I'd like a lot more.

I do want to give Fire Emblem, Bug Fables, and Sea of Stars a try at some point soon. Was just wondering if there's anything else I'm missing.

I started a new job last month. I'm about to get my first pay raise and with that I'll be making twice as much as I was making just a couple months ago at my last job. Most seem happy for me cause I'm slightly less depressed coming home from this job and am making a good amount of money. However I still just hate being here cause work is soul crushing. Nothing about working anywhere feels worth it for any amount of money. It just sucks away all the time and energy I'd be much better off spending doing literally anything else.

I didn't become a Godzilla fan till 2020 so I missed the original release of this. Making up for that on Saturday though!!!

Was playing through Shadow the Hedgehog when this graphical glitch happened after finishing the boss for the full dark ending. I guess Shadow got tired of hearing Sonic yapping so much.

Did retail for 11 years and now started working at a beef slaughterhouse. We did a little tour of the main work floor and honestly working where you tear apart the creatures you're forced to deal with feels good after having gone so long where you can't even frown at assholes.
