zim hates how human-centric everything is.
zim hates being implied to be a human in nearly 90% of the things zim sees.
that any discourse is gonna bring up being human.
that any positivity posts are gonna bring up "this is a human thing"
the fact that ppl use the words dehumanizing, inhuman, not human, and other statements implying to not be a human is bad
to see it constantly in people making activism posts for things zim is (except nonhuman stuff of course)
about how you need to remember people are human, that this is a human thing, just, it's so frustrating and dysphoria inducing and hurtful.
to be reminded constantly everywhere not for nonhumans that humans r superior, good, better, smart, caring, empathetic, spectacular, loving,
nonhumans are then inferior, bad, worse, stupid, uncaring, unempathetic, meaningless, unloving.
by reffering to all these negative things as not human they stigmatize nonhumans.
it fucking effects zims self esteem when zim is able to see zimself as nonhuman, which is made so fucking hard sense the stuff implies you too are human.
just everything we are, is apparently human.
even when ppl go to try to destigmatize things that are stigmatized like being selfish or unempathetic which should be positive posts to zim they end up saying being selfish and unempathetic is a human thing (in a positive way)
and its just like
so sense zim isn't a human does that mean those positivity posts don't include zim? because nonhumans aren't human, its like the word human is seen as the same as words like good, right, moral, ethical. when its just a single fucking creature on this planet, who decided it's better than the rest of the planet. and sorry if this is aggressive and speciest but it is literally inescapable zim is filled with rage and that rage is escaping and zim wants people to know how harmful human-centric stuff is.
zim can't escape it in zims favorite medias either, not unless they are totally devoid of humans and there's very few content of that.
zim throughout zims entire life has seen nonhumans depicated as the villains in stories, and humans killing them is seen as good.
do they know what it's like seeing everything imply you're existence is inherently inferior to the majority of people on this planet (excluding the nonhumans but most humans don't even think sapient nonhumans exist and just erase us as humans)
we imagine many marginalized people know this, so then why do those that acknowledge nonhumans existence not bother at least not claiming negative things aren't human. it's not that hard to use different words.
again the dysphoria it causes is terrible cause it makes zim feels like a human pretending to not be human with all these things implying you. are. a. human.
it even happens in places with nonhumans comnenly considered a part of it, like plural and xenogender communities we've seen where a lot of plurals have nonhuman members and lots of xenogender beings are nonhumans.
ahhhhh it drives zim wild.
and nobody talks about it.
zim is an Irken and that makes zim no lesser than a human (maybe a bit evil but that's cool, Irkens be like that :) )
