Hello, this is Project Moon.

The following are issues that have been identified after the 2025.11.20 Scheduled Update.
We will inform you via a separate notice once fixes for each issue are deployed through future updates.
Please refer below for more information.

[Known Issues List]

▶ An issue where a specific effect of To Remain Oneself [宁作吾] Hong Lu visually appears as if it's not triggered although functioning normally
※ Relevant Effect: [Before Attack] If this unit does not have Thunderer or Higher Thunderer, recuperate half of E.G.O resources and SP consumed by this Skill
※ This issue was previously fixed as announced.

※ In actuality, the SP Recovery Effect is already applied prior to the attack, and Coin is Tossed without any issues. This only appears otherwise due to a UI visual refresh error.

▶ An issue where, when certain Identities including Heishou Pack - You Branch Adept Heathcliff ends their action prior to using their Enhanced Skill, they may use the Enhanced Skill more than twice on the next turn under certain conditions

▶ Description changes in enemies appearing in "Refraction Railway Line 1 BokGak Station #9 - Serum"
Fixed the description of K Corp. Class 3 Empowered Staff's Passive "Overloaded HP Bullet":

  • Before : Turn Start: Gain 2 Protection and 2 Fragile
  • After : Turn Start: Gain 2 Damage Up and 2 Fragile
    ※ The effect is already functioning as intended; only the text will be updated to correctly reflect the behavior.

▶ (EN Only) Fixed the skill description of Abnormality kqe-1j-23's Skill "Processing Transfer Reg"

  • Before : Targets the unit with the least HP
  • After : Targets the unit with the most HP
    ※ The effect is already functioning as intended; only the English text will be updated to correctly reflect the behavior.

▶ An issue where Heishou Identities Staggered due the "Captivity" effect inflicted by kqe-1j-23 can still activate a combo attack with The Lord of Hongyuan Hong Lu
※ This issue occurs because the "Captivity" effect can be removed during combat.
※ In order to reflect the current behavior, the description of the "Captivity" effect will be updated so that The Lord of Hongyuan Hong Lu's combo attack with Heishou Identities can activate normally with the correct sprite animation.

▶ An issue where the E.G.O list does not properly update in the Selected Identity window when progressing through Refraction Railway Line 1 BokGak

▶ An issue where the E.G.O Background of the "Line 1 BokGak: Madness" does not correctly display on Profile Customization

Below are the specifications of Hong Lu's E.G.O To Remain Oneself [宁作吾], and the forthcoming update schedule.
This notice provides a more detailed explanation of the changes that will occur once the previously announced fixes are implemented.

[ To Remain Oneself [宁作吾] Hong Lu Adjustments ]

  • "Effect in Question" : [Before Attack] If this unit does not have Thunderer or Higher Thunderer, recuperate half of E.G.O resources and SP consumed by this Skill (rounded down)
    (The effect above will be referred to as "Effect in Question" in this notice)

  • Before

  1. The "Effect in Question" activated before the E.G.O Skill's SP cost is consumed
  • This means that, if the unit uses the E.G.O at 45 SP, it will not be able to benefit from the SP recuperation effect.
  1. The "Effect in Question", which is an effect in the Awakening Skill, activated for the Corrosion Skill as well if the Corrosion Skill activated due to the "To Corrode" probability
  • This is because the "Effect in Question" triggered before the game determines whether the Skill would activate as a Corrosion Skill or not
  • Therefore, even if the Corrosion Skill activates due to Corrosion chance when trying to use the Awakening Skill, the E.G.O resource and SP recuperation effect would still activate
  1. The E.G.O's Awakening Skill had a guaranteed chance to activate as a Corrosion Skill when used below -34 SP
  • This is because the "Effect in Question" triggered before the game determines whether the Skill would activate as a Corrosion Skill or not, healing the unit's SP

   

  • After
  1. The "Effect in Question" now activates after the E.G.O Skill's SP cost is consumed
  • Which means that the unit will now benefit from the SP recuperation effect even if it uses the E.G.O at 45 SP.
  1. The "Effect in Question" that applies on the Corrosion Skill as well if the Corrosion Skill activated due to the "To Corrode" chance will be maintained, and the description will be changed to include this effect
  • Before: [Before Attack] If this unit does not have Thunderer or Higher Thunderer, recuperate half of E.G.O resources and SP consumed by this Skill (rounded down)
  • After: [Before Attack] If this unit does not have Thunderer or Higher Thunderer, recuperate half of E.G.O resources and SP consumed by this Skill (rounded down; this effect applies to Corrosion Skill as well if it activated due to the "To Corrode" chance)

※ As the "Effect in Question" activation has been moved to the timing after the game determines whether the unit will use a Corrosion Skill or not, this issue was supposed to be fixed alongside it; however, doing so would prevent E.G.O resource-and-SP recuperation effects from triggering when the Awakening Skill corrodes due to the "To Corrode" probability (thus changing the preexisting gameplay experience). With this in mind, the following effect will be maintained: The "Effect in Question" triggers as well if the Awakening Skill activates as a Corrosion Skill due to the "To Corrode" probability, recuperating E.G.O resources and SP spent.

  1. This E.G.O's Awakening Skill now has a guaranteed chance to activate as a Corrosion Skill when used below -24 SP

※ As the "Effect in Question" activation timing has been moved to the timing after the game determines whether the unit will use a Corrosion Skill or not, the unit will now heal SP after the game determines whether the Awakening Skill will activate as a Corrosion Skill or not. However, if the E.G.O Skill is used when the unit is already under -24 SP, it will bring the unit's SP down to -45 SP, which locks the unit out of any SP healing effects.
Please note that the guaranteed Corrosion will now occur at -24 SP instead of -34 SP once the adjustment is implemented; please take greater care when using this E.G.O Skill once the changes are deployed.

[ Update Schedule ]

As we have announced in the previous notice, the next update is set on November 20th (Thu), when the new version of the application is scheduled to be deployed.

While a resubmission and review process is required in the case of mobile platforms, we still expect to be able to release the update in line with the previously announced update schedule.

Should any scheduling issues arise in regards to the update, we will promptly notify you via an additional notice.

Hello, this is Kim Jihoon, director at Project Moon.
I would like to begin by apologizing for yesterday's adjustment notice that came across as a downgrade of the E.G.O to our users.

I am writing to inform you that the "To Remain Oneself [宁作吾] Hong Lu" adjustments we shared yesterday will be changed.

As opposed to what we shared in the Nov. 17th Scheduled Update Notice, To Remain Oneself [宁作吾] Hong Lu's behavior will be adjusted to match the description, rather than the other way around.

[ To Remain Oneself [宁作吾] Hong Lu Adjustments ]

  • Before : The "[Before Attack] Recuperate SP" effect activated before the unit lost SP from using the E.G.O Skill.
    This meant that, if the E.G.O Skill was used at 45 SP, the unit could not gain the benefits of the SP recuperation effect.

  • After : We adjusted the "[Before Attack] Recuperate SP" effect to activate after the unit loses SP from using the E.G.O Skill.
    With this change, the unit will now receive the benefits of the SP recuperation effect, even if the E.G.O Skill was used at 45 SP.

This is how we reached the decision we shared previously with the Nov. 17th Scheduled Update Notice: We believed fixing the issue would function as both a downgrade and an upgrade at the same time. As we believed that the downsides and upsides of such a change (whether the behavior was adjusted to fit the description or vice versa) were roughly on the same scale, we decided to fix the description to match the behavior so that the current player experience could be maintained as much as possible.

However, we now realize that the benefits of adjusting the behavior to match the description outweigh the downsides of doing so, which we failed to see because we neglected to conduct a detailed review to see in which situations this change would feel like an upgrade or a downgrade. Also, after the announcement, we had the opportunity to receive various input from our users who gave examples of upgrades and downgrades. Consequently, we realized that the downsides of maintaining the behavior as-is and changing the description to match it would come across as a more tangible downgrade than an upgrade.

To conclude, we decided that adjusting the behavior of To Remain Oneself [宁作吾] to match the description would be a greater upgrade to our users than maintaining the current gameplay experience, and will be applying that change accordingly.

We offer our sincerest apology to our users for previously having made a decision that could feel like a downgrade in a matter as important and sensitive as the performance of Identities and E.G.Os.

In similar situations going forward, we will work more closely with the relevant teams to assess in greater detail how the applicable changes, whether implemented or not, might affect the gameplay experience of our users, as well as any inconveniences that might arise.

We understand there may be concerns that future updates might be handled in a similar way, in a manner detrimental to the positive gameplay experience of our users. Because of this, we felt it was important to explain the reasoning behind our patch direction in correcting the behavior-related issue of the "To Remain Oneself" E.G.O itself by engaging our users through this specific notice.

We are preparing to apply Hong Lu's "To Remain Oneself" E.G.O fix with the November 20th update, when the new version of the application is scheduled to be deployed. While a resubmission and review process is required in the case of mobile platforms, we still expect to be able to release the update in line with the previously announced update schedule.

Should any scheduling issues arise in regards to the update, we will promptly notify you via an additional notice.

Once again, we sincerely apologize to all our users who may have been inconvenienced and disappointed by the previous announcement regarding Hong Lu's E.G.O "To Remain Oneself [宁作吾]".

Over the weekend, we identified an issue where access to the game could be interrupted due to the issue where the download pop-up window appears repeatedly.

This issue has been resolved now; please continue reading for more information.

[ Issue ]

  • An issue where the pop-up window requiring the player to download the game kept appearing

[ Cause ]

  • An unintended file adjustment occurred to Ver. 1.90.0 resource management review process while preparing for next week's update

[ Resolution ]

  • Reverted the file in question in the resource management review process

For managers still experiencing this issue, please attempt the following:

  1. Run Limbus Company
  2. Proceed with 8.1kb resource download
    ※ If the game won't proceed even after the download has completed in the download screen, please try closing and restarting the game.

Hello, this is Project Moon.

We have recently identified an issue where, after updates, texts in the in-game content load in as "Unknown."

Please continue reading to view further information regarding this issue and our future measures regarding it.

[ Issue ]

  • An issue where, after updates, texts in the newly updated content load in placeholder texts such as "Unknown" or "RawDesc 없음".

[ Cause & Solution ]

  • We have so far identified two issues that may cause this to happen.
  1. (PC) If you are using the Custom Language Mod function, any text not present in the custom mod folder will load in as "Unknown" or "RawDesc 없음"(for new Identities or E.G.O descriptions).
    : In this case, if the new content update texts are not yet present in your game folder, please disable the Custom Language mod and try again.

  2. (PC, Mobile) A resource download error could cause the text to load incorrectly.
    : In this case, please close the game completely and start again. Click(or touch) the title screen to see if there are any remaining resources to be downloaded.

[ Future Measures ]

  • We will improve the in-game functionality so that, even if players are using the Custom Translation Mod, and even if the said mod does not yet have the updated text files, the in-game text would load in properly.
  • We will review the resource download logic with greater detail to reduce the frequency of this issue.
