There was a bit if argy-bargy on the Torrens today. Maybe it's mating season? There were a couple of groups having it out. Not sure if I caught it but at one point one bird was holding another under the water for a while.

Brutal.

From my study of the tracks I can conclude the kangaroo in question was feeling chilly...

From Wikipedia:

The Adnyamathanha (Pronounced: /ˈɑːdnjəmʌdənə/) are a contemporarily formed grouping of several distinct Aboriginal Australian peoples of the northern Flinders Ranges, South Australia. The ethnonym Adnyamathanha was an alternative name for the Wailpi but the contemporary grouping also includes the Guyani, Jadliaura, Pilatapa and sometimes the Barngarla peoples. The origin of the name is in the words "adnya" ("rock") and "matha" ("group" or "group of people").

Canberra can be seen in the distance, you might be able to spot Black Mountain Tower just below the horizon on the left hand side.

For an idea of scale look for the guy sitting on the top of the rocks on the right hand side...

On the horizon you can see some snow remaining on Mt Bimberi (left) and Mt Gingera (right), respectively the highest and second highest mountains in the ACT.
