I printed a Leber lower for my AP5P. I’m using an arc fire so I opted for the AR selector version. Everything printed right but this slit appeared. It looks normal in the STL but once I slice the slit appears. What am I doing wrong? I’m printing on a Bambu P1S in PA6CF

I printed the standard mp5k leber housing but my ap5p has the new larger denial block and isn’t able to fit it. I’ve got an AS Designs ARC fire that I want to use in it so I’m looking for a file to accommodate the new denial block as well as a cutout for the arc fire (it’s the non-Ambi) right side selector one

AR FCG lower for the keltech P50 allowing you to run super safety’s

Basically what the title says. Does anyone know of an ar10 lever for the kabuto? Or is anyone working on one? Or is anyone interested in a collab to make one?

Crossposted for visibility. Super interested in this! Have a few years of fusion experience and 2 ar10s as well!

I’ve been trying to download the Invader PDW V3 pack, but I keep getting errors. I’m pretty sure something in the file is corrupt, but I’m wanting the G20 file from it. Is there anywhere else I may be able to get it? I’ve looked around, but I haven’t found it.

I'm wondering if there is some type of coating for cf nylon printed Glock frames so they won't absorb moisture. And won't stretch? Is there any type of non porous spray or dip or anything? What about something like a wrap or maybe powder coat or even clear coat enamel spray paint? What's about dipping or brushing on someth and coating with cyana acrylate aka super glue? Has anyone tried covering a hot fresh out the oven frame with a dusting of powder coat so it will stick then setting back in the oven to bake the powder coat completely? What about some type of hydrophobic ceramic coating spray or water proofing sealant. My last thought would be fiberglass resin or even wrap with a thin layer of fiberglass because when it cures its not porous but I'm not sure if the cf nylon we would be effected by any of these methods either...

I finally got around to printing the PEN15 and went to find files for projectiles only to run into a wall. The links on guncadindex lead to nowhere. Grixxlyprints has no link to Odysee for the "15mm minishells. I have 37mm and 26.5 but cant seem to find any 15 now can anyone point me in the right direction? I also noticed the last post here is a month old, i hope this place isnt dead too

Looking for a file that uses all gen 5 internals/slide with 17 grip/19 slide. Have only found the py2a frame but prefer it take fdma rails. Tia

hey guys, anyone have the links for the study 23/52 or just the ar15 trigger pack for pps43/52, thanks!

Hi everyone, I’ve hit a snag with the feeding mechanism on my recent build. About 70% of the time, the tip of the cartridge enters the barrel, but the rest of the cartridge ends up sitting at an angle/sideways.

I’ve already addressed some burrs in the 2.1mm hole and smoothed out the feed ramp , but the alignment issue is still there.

i made a slow-mo video and it seems that the end of the cartridge gets pushed upwards, what can be causing this?

Im sure this question has been asked before, but is there a file with with 26 internals, but the slide length and grip the size of a 19? I want to make it flush with a comp, and I'm already aware of the 26x.

As title says, Im wondering a few things. 3D2A is legal in my state. I know they recently made and anti-2A post, saw the backlash, then retracted what they said 2 days (or something like that) later. Im stoked about the new printer, it's a gamechanger, but im nervous, for these reasons...

  1. How does everyone feel about using Flashforge in general for 3D2A?
  2. Whats the likelyhood that the items printed on the flashforge are watched/flagged if its a file they dont like? (i'm sure they are)

I haven't checked on FOSSCAD in awhile honestly didnt even know reddit booted it, however after finally giving in I printed a SS I then machined the cam successfully with a dremel and some steel, im getting pretty excited to get this setup on my .308 strictly for range smiles and laughs, however I'm now realizing how much it's going to cost to blatantly shoot away .308/7.62 ammo and I've become obsessed with making an AR platform 22 that the SS would be compatible in, I'd love a little compact DeAR22 in the form of an MCX or something but the parts and stl hunt is killing me i see cmmg kits but idk if I'm looking at the right stuff if anyone could help me with some BOL or point me into the flavor of Stl I'm looking for it'd be greatly appreciated TIA sorry if this was formatted wrong

Im designing a prototype smoke projectile for 38mm launchers. This is designed around using a 38mm 12" barrel for the Odin Launcher. The smoke composition will be TPA based. I'm going to attempt an IR/Thermal blocking smoke composition but if all else fails it will be the same TPA composition that Invention Incarnate uses.

Design Highlights:

  • Von Kármán ogive nose cone, optimal for subsonic projectiles.
  • Polygonal rifled integrated pusher using an extended 4.5" Mathetatics & AWCY? M.I.L.C shell, provides initial rotation.
  • 6 curved folding fins, spring loaded for stabilization and further rotation during flight.
  • 3D printed housing using a DIY phenolic liner for heat mitigation.
  • Helical igniter for full core ignition.

This will be a bore-riding projectile for an increased gas seal and accuracy. The 4.5" shell will cover the fins when folded so that they're captive.

I've ran this through a few AI models who have calculated that with 87g of a smoke composition this projectile could reach a theoretical 45° launch distance of 160-200m at a muzzle velocity of 240-275fps.

Looking for thoughts and suggestions. Of course this design can be scaled from 26.5mm to 40mm and shortened as needed.

I recently came across a M5 SQUARE NUT and was wondering would that work better if someone created a Ubar 3 with it? Demonstration photo below

Looking to gauge interest in Odin Parts kits since they have been OOS for over a year as far as I can tell.

Have priced out components and considered all factors for a 10 pc and 25pc run.

My baseline is the INMC kits, so these do not have the spine (Xometry wanted between $60-$82 for one) and a stronger 4130 chromoly barrel.

A 10pc run would roughly be $155 shipped per kit, while a 25pc run would be $145 shipped to the CONUS.

Sales would likely be done through Paypal G&S to protect buyers.

Let me know if this would interest anyone in the community.

I'm planning to work on some DIY 37mm smoke grenades. The goal is to make a DIY printable/easily acquired 37mm screening device that outperforms the M713 40mm white smoke round.

As such packing as much smoke composition as possible within the round is ideal. These rounds will be fairly heavy as the smoke composition includes a resin for waterproofing them.

So im looking for opinions and personal experience from the community on which launcher design is the strongest and can handle launching heavy projectiles? I've seen the Odin, Nameless, Pipe Hitter, NT79, B.A.L.L.S, etc.. with most of them having DXF files for reinforcing the chamber. For designs that don't, I can modify them to do so. But I want to gage the community and see which platform I should start with.

What are the most commonly available slides and lower kits out there for 22 pistols. I liked all the options for parts and models for glocks, but alas I am tired of them and would love to start tinkering with 22 pistols.

EDIT: Thanks everybody! I think might go with a DeAR22! Since I already happen to have a CMMG conversion kit!

Now up on Odysee under my name!

DeAR22 Upper and Handguards I designed with each other in mind. Meant to give the entire build a continuous look, and with a suppressor tuck in mind. (FTN.5 Rimfire should fit snug but Form 1s are slow so I can't check myself yet)

Handguards have two variants, so please read the ReadMe.txt!

As with any Beta release, please let me know of any issues or revisions needed, so I can make changes as needed.

Happy printing!

As was requested, the brace tailhook for my TX7 Remix has been doubled in size. The blade is now twice as thick, and the brace arm has had its geometry updated to match the right side of the tailhook's profile.

Included are .STL and .STEP files for both parts, so further modifications can be made on an individual basis.

This brace is a remix of @CrankFastle "CRANKS DROP STABLE SKELLY"

The brace arm has been changed to work with the folding hinge from @philphisher "PP MCXish 3D Printed Folding Brace"

As such, this brace should work on any chassis or lower with a rear Picatinny rail section.

Will gladly take feedback! Needs some minor changes, but pretty happy with how it's coming so far.

Will upload it to Odysee under my name when it's finished!

Gonna try and make the handguard work standalone, for anyone that doesn't want to reprint their upper.

Hello everyone.

I've been following the community for many years and have built a few models thanks to the superb information provided by everyone.

I know this topic keeps coming up especially for non-American makers.

I'm familiar with ECM, I've done the FGC-9 and it turned out very well. I've tried the .22 rifling button from the guy in Ukraine with dubious results (I've NEVER seen rifling buttons on AliExpress). I can see the marks, but I'm not certain they're deep enough. This was for a Harlot build. I then did a .22 barrel for the Dirty Harry build using ECM with mandrels in the Professional Damage ECM Pack. I think that turned out quite well and was surprisingly easy.

I've used 12 mm OD 5.5 mm ID hydraulic pipe from AliExpress which seem to be readily available, but I was trying to find a suitable pipe with a smaller OD.

The best source I've seen is McMaster which carries a 3/8 inch, 0.216" ID which is rated for 15000 psi which seems perfect, but it's like 80 bucks a foot and I haven't even looked at shipping outside America.

I have not found any pipe on AliExpress with a 5.5 mm ID less than 12 mm. I usually look for 42crmo or 'explosion proof' in the description.

I do have access to a small lathe. How safe would it be to turn down 12x5.5 explosion-proof tube to say 8 mm OD for a .22 barrel? Would it support the pressure?

TIA
