The artstyle like this with round eyes with no pupils. I usually see it a lot in 2000s/2010s nostalgia, and i remember seeing comics like this in this artstyle and I really like this aesthetic.

I have been referring to it as "Papa Louie kinda vibes" because the pupil-less eyes kind of remind me of the employees character designs from the Papa games on CoolMathGames.

But is there a specific name for this style? Thank you

Like, I seriously wanna know who won those and the experience and everything.

Like who won that one Danimals sweepstakes from like, 2011 to meet Bella Thorne and the Sprouse twins and hang out with them on that cruise?

Or the Nickelodeon ones to win VIP tickets to the Kids Choice Awards and meet some of the stars?

Or any of the other Disney Channel ones to go to Disneyland or Disney World and hang out for 3 days with the cast of popular shows like Shake it Up or ANT Farm.

Also would like to see why these sweepstakes were even a thing in the first place and how they constructed them.

Not the quite 2000’s, but I hope you enjoy this ride, as much as you enjoy this accent. 😊

I live in Kansas, which is part of Tornado Alley, and almost every single year without fail, it would be a big thunderstorm during Day of Play. I mean, winds strong enough to shake my house and I could literally feel my bedroom window rattling. And like, majority of the state was under Severel Tornado Warning/Watch. What kid would wanna play in that kind of weather?

Besides, I always played outside in the morning on Saturdays before the storm came in. I'd have already had my outdoor thrills so I usually just switched to the station next door and watched the Disney Channel until it was 5pm and time for new episodes Victorious or True Jackson or BTR that they promised.

But what about you? Did you actually go out and play during Day of Play or were you like me and switched the channels?

For me, I love Sanrio! I have loved Hello Kitty and her friends since I was four or five years old.

I also still love stuffed animals

And the 2003 Strawberry Shortcake cartoon is still a huge comfort for me

Right now for me, and this may sound weird, but it is the Build A Bear strawberry scent you can get put in your plushie.

Not because I frequently went to the Build A Bear Workshop as a kid. I only recently discovered their strawberry scent as an adult. But as a 2004 kid, the scent reminds me of when I was a kid and I would play with my 2003 era Strawberry Shortcake toys and it had that sweet strawberry scent.

Also, vanilla is always a classic nostalgic for me as well.

But what about you? What's your favorite nostalgic scent?

This might be going into 2010s nostalgia. But I am an 04 kid who loved YGG and Dj Lance Rock. And I think it's cool that he made a Manga based on himself

But do you remember him and Yo Gabba Gabba? (My favorite was Foofa and Brobee)

Text asks: “You have the power to reverse the death of one movie character. Who do you save?”

In boxes below the text are the options of Bambi’s mother from Bambi, Gwen Stacy from The Amazing Spider-Man, Old Yeller from the movie of the same name, John Coffey from the Green Mile, Artax from The Neverending Story, Thomas J. Sennett from My Girl, Mufasa from The Lion King and Yondu from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Like, those stories they would play during commercials or in between shows. It stood for "The Time I..." and it sometimes features random kids, and other times it featured actual Disney Channel stars.

Like I remember the one with Bella Thorne and she talked about when she found out she was dyslexic and she talked about what it was like to have dyslexia.

But then there was another one with Zendaya, but unlike Bella, she was acting as a character named Jazmine and I think she got a new baby sister?

But the one that sticks out the most to me was one of the random kids, I think his name was Tyler, and he told about the time he cartwheeled across the entire country. I remember being skeptical because like, I couldn't do a singular cartwheel let alone cartwheel across my backyard, how the hell was this kid cartwheeling across the country??

But someone please say they remember this segment. Nobody i know seems to.

I'm an 80s kid not a 2000s kid, but I found these while cleaning out a closet and thought you guys would appreciate them. These Magnetix toys came out around 2004/5 I think and were very popular until they were recalled in 2006 after a few kids ended up swallowing some of them. Apparently having multiple neodymium magnets coursing through your intestines is really bad... I don't remember why I bought them as I was like 24 in 2005 lol I'm sure I had a good reason though

I remember doing this at the Embassy Suits probably around 2002.
