it's got more simplistic graphics and isn't exactly what you're looking for, but MotorTown is kinda trying to do this. regular big free updates and made originally by a single guy. lots of love in it. I'm big into sims and was surprised how quickly I was hooked by it

This is definitely something I learned long ago. Maybe it was speculation back when I believe I "learned" it, but I was pretty sure it was a known fact already

I've been really enjoying it lately. only gotten into the whole SS14 recently, but it's all pretty amazing.

RMC has been very interesting and I have so much to learn. I've been playing as the Xenos a lot and it seems we need more xeno players in general. all in all it's all a lot of fun and most people seem super friendly and helpful.

I've been playing a lot of the Monolith server lately too, because it's also pretty amazing

to those interested in dipping your toes into things like making industrial sounds and getting a feel for it, there are a lot of free options. it honestly doesn't matter what program you make your music in. they can all basically do the same thing. Reaper is free for personal use, for instance.

if you take some classic 808 drum sounds (which are usually built in to most programs, or easy to google) and just start with a distortion filter and mess around with knobs, even if you don't know what you're doing, you start to hear a lot of similar sounds and tones that are used in all sorts of darker electro music's

if you find you start to really enjoy that, there's a world of tutorials and resources to help get you going

I find a lot of things that I start with limited knowledge in, feel like there's a million things to learn to get anywhere, but it's usually a lot more reasonable once you start getting into it a bit

true! that guy is full of milk wine

probably that a regular comedy comic, seemingly out of nowhere, posted the comic. the comic is not comedy and using the same graphics makes it feel pretty insincere

do you have a source I could read about that?
