i use gnome for my laptops bc they have touch screens and pen input and shit. i use kde for proper desktop bc it isn’t trying to do stuff i don’t need it to.

right now the SM has an issue with sleep that randomly nerfs the performance very hard, so you’re best off just restarting every time. it’s also hard capped at 60fps as long as you’re in “game mode”.

like as a package it DOES just work, i can't deny that. it makes a great living room pc. but i’d be a lot more confident actually knowing and controlling specifically what my hardware is doing, even if that means it’s sloppy for now :/

as a teenager i did a lot of business with shady key resellers. now i’m missing an unknown number of games from my library as a result of chargebacks and fraud. i’m fine to buy them again, but i’m gutted that i lost all my playstats, achievements, cloud saves, screenshots, etc. i’m not even sure what all is missing :/
