This is most unhinged take from both sides.

Time can’t exist in LLM by design: it’s just a thing that predicts next token based on previous tokens. There is no temporal relation between tokens. You can stop and resume generation at any point. How anyone expect it to “count time”? Based on what? The best you can do is add time mark to model input at some interval.

Simplifying, somewhat complex biological systems have some kind of clocks that actually chemically tick and induce some kind of signal that they can react on.

LLMs can’t do that like at all. They never will. Some other architecture that runs in cycles? Maybe. But transformer shit? Never ever.

Because sweeney is greedy lying piece of shit, who’s using “think of poor developers being robbed by app stores” to cut himself bigger market share by suing fuck out of competitors

Like they won over google and guess what? He fucked over “all the poor developers” and cut himself a juicy deal to settle antitrust case

Fuck him, fuck Epic

Lucky you, mine does nothing :(

Nah. On my 5 international flights around europe/middle-east this year I was the only person in mask.

Tbh, it took me like 2 covids, or whatever that was, to get back to masking in crowded places. And it’s hard to keep masking because social pressure is very much real.

This is stupid. We did not learn a thing

There are reasons for optimism: vaccines and antivirals should be effective against avian influenza, and the world is far better prepared thanks to lessons learned from COVID, particularly in diagnostics and global surveillance.

Oh you sweet summer child

I think we need to level the playing field with these religious zealots. We need to counter with bold statement in a language they understand, using the same tools they use, like this crude draft:

I am a member of the New Sexually Free Worship Church (NSFW Church for short), and I am deeply disappointed by recent actions recklessly taken by payment processors to ban religious content

I believe these actions violate my freedom of religion and I urge world governments to take immediate steps to stop this outrageous attack on religious liberty
