I admit I did not like that job very much, but it wasn't anything to do with each work day spanning two dates.
This happens anyway. I literally have meetings every week where it's Tuesday night for everyone else on the meeting, and Wednesday morning for me.

There are actually more operators than just JR and Keisei, but transferring between any of them is usually very quick and painless if you have any of the major transportation network cards in Japan, or associated NFC app. Only tourists actually buy tickets at the machines.
However, it does tend to cost more than sticking to one operator.

The tab shows as unsaved up at the top and there is a JS next to that, which probably means it's trying to parse that as JavaScript. Just save the file with an appropriate extension (maybe .txt or .md) or you can (I think) also manually set that behavior.
