Es scheint halt aber deutlich billiger alles zu verpollern als Leuten mit psychischen Problemen zu helfen
The installer's partitioner and package selection can get a bit complicated, but imo it's a pretty guided experience. You also don't have to use YaST on OpenSUSE, it's just a nice alternative to having to copy commands from some random tutorial, and it's also being replaced: YAST is now Agama, Cockpit and Myrlyn on openSUSE
I do find it funny how Mozilla has created both Rust and Servo, yet FireFox's Gecko is still written in C/++
They figured out that since these planes were flying circles anyway they could just rely on that. The pilots actually prefer this because it has stabler aerodynamics during liftoff and landing.
Yea I wish, but aren't Linux and android systems different in like ...all regards, basically?
the Google crap is what makes android android?
Yes, that's what I'm asserting. When you call an os 'android' I will expect it to be filled with all sorts of nasty software. The operating systems based on android that remove such malware may call themselves 'ungoogled android' or something more unique, like for example '/e/os', which is why differentiating between android and e has no need to be corrected upon.
and android is Linux, yet you wouldn't call either os a Linux-distro, no⸮ https://www.xkcd.com/1318/
Not op, but that is possible. Personally however after trying a few launchers I realised that the default one wasn't even that bad, only a bit messy with all the apps organised somewhere on the homescreen
The shareholders basically tried to enshittify it
I mean from what I know about it Omarchy and its creator is pretty shit

I agree though that openSUSE is great. I haven't used Fedora yet, but I also haven't heard people complain about it either
The only thing better than perfect is standardised. Supporting two vcs-systems would mean that a lot of tooling would need to be duplicated for it
