The original quality will be there when you turn this feature off. It’s safe to assume this will just be part of a future DLSS version

If you look at the NVIDIA presentation (linked in the article), they explain how they quantify realism at around minute 16. Also audio and video compression doesn’t aim for original quality, it aims for lower quality that is visually or acoustically“the same” from the human perspective, not the computer. Just because it’s AI doesn’t mean it’s garbage.

If you read the article you’d know it was the Megatron-led Decepticons.

That excuse might work for the Steam Machine, which can be produced without RAM and then installed later on. How would they even start production of something like the Steam Frame without having a supplier for RAM? Do they have all the components just gathering dust until they figure out how to obtain RAM? Or did they assemble the whole SOC without RAM only to send it again to the fabs just to solder the RAM into it? Or maybe they don’t have any of the of the components yet and are using RAM shortages as an excuse to justify other delays? These are questions that only Valve can answer, but you are free to think about which one is more realistic.

If RAM is the problem, then the Steam Controller would have been out by now. That is unless they plan to release all 3 products on the same day, which is absurd and something not even Apple does anymore.

On Matrix, as long as you have your username and password, it’s not possible to get “locked out” due to not having your keys. In fact, your keys are only necessary if you plan to participate in encrypted chats, in which case it’s obvious that losing your key will mean losing access to old messages. However, you will still be able to receive new messages by generating a new key.

According to people familiar with Microsoft’s plans

Might as well get your information from psychedelic mushrooms.

I use MediaMTX. You can stream to it with whatever (I use OBS). You could even publish it to a website behind an iframe.

Question: How can I make a simple app with libadwaita?

Reply: Fork GNOME.

Well, you obviously have never used BitLocker. The first thing they ask you when you activate BitLocker is to pick one of 3 options:

  1. Link to Microsoft Account.

  2. Save to a File

  3. Print Recovery Key (so you can write it down on a piece of paper or whatever)

There’s no “railroading”. There’s plenty of real things to not like Microsoft. No need to make them up.

Microsoft only has your key if you give it to them for convenience (by syncing to your Microsoft account), and they’re required by law to give anything stored in their servers if asked. There’s no conspiracy here.
