First time using multiple flashguns at night, not the best option for owls I know. Suggested I cross post here from the birding community

Yup, far too much added processed sugar and fats, but thats the vast majority of problem foods problem.

A whole wheat or cauliflower base would be all I changed if I was aiming for a healthy pizza

Copying the Americans with their pizza is a fruit classification?

Its already here, I had an ID check when I purchased some red bull yesterday, well I would have done if I looked forty years younger.

Covid made me realise that even the dumbest person in a horror movie who goes down into the basement on their own, actually exist.

Random finds today, when i didn't have my big lens, multiple house martin nests, grey wagtails, pond dippers, skylarks, kestrels, buzzards, always my luck

Took on my xt50 & fuji 50-140mm

Tons of very game Meadow Pipets at Souter Lighthouse.

Taken with my xt50 & Tamron 150-500mm

Large group of cormorants with young, managed to spot this one feeding its young, its got right in there for sure!

Taken on my xt50 and Tamron 150-500mm

Finally got a lot closer to a Northern Lapwing so I could capture its iridescent wings.

Taken on my xt50 and Tamron 150-500mm

Seems very late but this Great Crested Grieve was still sitting on eggs today. They had chosen a spot right next to some black cap gulls so cant have been the quietest spot

Taken with my XT50 & Tamron 150-500mm

Barn Owl hunting during mid morning, guess it has young mouths to feed.

Shot at Bempton Cliffs on my xt50 and 150-500mm

Never appreciated how green these were till I saw the sea going cousin of the Cormorant in person.

Taken from a (fast moving) boat by Bempton Cliffs on my XT-50 & Tamron 150-500mm

Amazing to think the RSPB started with just 19 breeding pairs and now has over 10k, amazing success story.

Last time this type of detection software was mooted, for child sex abuse images, it used small squares of the image against a known model of such images, which meant sending it off to a server via background scanning.

I guess this could use skin, nipple, and genital detection using a similar model. Which sounds shit, prone to false positives, and easy to circumvent.

Would it upload images for manual checking it wasn't sure of? That was how the pedo scanner would work.

Its an absolutely awful way of tackling the problem of sexting and cross sharing of nudes.

Zero chance this won't misidentify content, be easy to bypass, and massively extended.

Does anyone seriously believe that the type of content it looks for won't be expanded in what it searches for, and that it will cover adult devices over time?

Thats before you look at jt as a way for mass role out of device level identity verification dressed up as age verification.

I do love Dirty Dozen, but Seven Samurai is the oft imitated, never beaten, in the desperate last stand for a hastily put together team film that has my number one pick.

Yeah I think thats a good match up, if ever there was a film that caught the DnD party vibe without being a DnD film

Have you tried Kings of the Wyld?

Its about an older band of adventures getting back together.

Another remaster from early in the year

Xt50 & 150-500mm Tamron

For those that don't know, I started digital photography this year after many decades since I gave up film photography due to cost and time.

Its been a journey relearning old skills and learning all the new tricks like editing. Hence posting this photo from February, which i have finally gotten closer to the colours I see in my head when I see a bluetit with this remaster.

Alternative title, I go my own way

You can make out three letters (looks like CTY or similar to me) with something like a George cross or some eyes over it if it isnt covered up? If it is covered up its badly done as it should be fully blacked out.

Hang on, he got text redacted but not the swastika? That raises even more questions, like how bad must the text have been if blocking it out was more important than blocking out an actual swastika, and he cannot have regretted getting a swastika in the first place if he left it

Knowing Wes he would only do that if he knows he can't win himself. He leaked he was sending in his letter so he had to do it when he did but the actual next step was missing so now he loses all momentum
