Yeah all know they’re dishonest and will do it anyway.

No, it means you centralise before you swing. That requires some empathy.
Putting an underwhelming big mouth on a pedestal and building discriminatory legislation around that shitcunt? It’s as American as it gets.
Idk this is Americans, they’re pretty compliant
A conservative blogger, and a dogshit one at that

I assure you it isn’t offered willingly, I wish I could say otherwise.

At the end of the day, their people still act and vote as a unit regardless of what noise is outside.
That’s the difference. Yes, there’s a lot of noise but sooner or later progressive voters or anyone who wants something decent is going to have to stand. That includes dealing with the voter suppression, one way or the other.
I can speak somewhat of the SE Qld situation, having 50c fares in place for a while now but it’s not the same as Victoria or Melbourne.
My knowledge comes mainly from friends and relatives. There’s been a sharp uptake locally because my rural city is at the end of the Brisbane metro train line. It’s a massive saving. 20 or so dollars, dependent on your fare category.
Brisbane, from my couple of sources, is the same. They’re leaving their cars home more often and catching the train into work and town recreationally, so are their colleagues. I understand the takeup in Brisbane has been pretty significant.
I’ve taken advantage of it twice on the local buses, I like it.
