Brother it's been a month and the prices of most groceries in my area have only gone up and the stock market just got fucked up. If this is what "working so far" looks like then I'm terrified of what it'll be by the time of mid-term elections

The US can survive without exports, they have a shit ton of natural resources and industry... but Israel, oh they're definitely gone. Israel will be Isfaek in no time

EDIT: Solved this by adding "English" to my languages in account settings. Solution from a comment by @mp3@lemmy.ca

For some reason I can't see any posts/comments on hexbear or by users from hexbear. I don't have the instance blocked or muted or anything. I can click the communities and bring them up, but they don't show user content. This is specifically only on my account too. It doesn't matter if I'm on an app or on the website. There isn't anything I can find that causes this. I would like to see posts by hexbear users so this is pretty annoying.

The US state department doesn't decide which countries own or control which territory, now does it? How exactly can you say territory you don't control (neither legally nor militarily) and likely will never control is part of your own country? Furthermore, why would the US risk ruining trade relations with China over unnecessarily pointing out reality, when it doesn't benefit the US to recognize Taiwanese independence?
