@Fierro the terminal? i try to keep overhead to a minimum, its simpler to just learn the commands and use the terminal, can use it from my phone remotely, ssh is pretty secure and using other tools that act as middle-ware just adds to the attack surface.

I can share my experiences, when i was looking for nsfw communities where there would be conversations/discussions around topics of kink/power exchange etc. it was a difficult search. Most nsfw discord guilds lack a well defined purpose, they are often built around the pursuit of quick gratification rather than exploring kinks/sexuality in a more comprehensive way. There were a few healthy communities but they were in a different part of the world and the cultural differences were huge. I wish people would build communities around conversations instead of just sharing porn/gifs.
@sbird there is a bot i use with discord which has many such games, you can self host the bot but it works with discord. Not a 100% self-hosted solution but you may find it useful.

@haverholm Since you mentioned hubzilla i should point you to a project i maintain which is about creating new themes for it. you can take a look at https://utsukta.org/channel/utsukta-themes and preview some themes i have created so far for it(sidebar menu). Some are still in development but my goal was to make hubzilla a better CMS which could compare to wordpress for traditional blogs.

@unknowing8343 yes, i've been using Memories app to tag and organize my photos and it has been running smoothly. no complaints whatsoever.
Everyone has already recommended friendica, but there is also hubzilla which is a fork of friendica and has much more. Its relatively unknown but very powerful, also there is this family of platforms that are for smaller communities for facebook alternative, friendica, hubzilla, streams, forte. You might want to give these a try, friendica is the oldest but others have evolved and have better ui/features and superb privacy controls.

I use grocy for this. It has task tracking and along with other home management stuff its a good solution.
