This is an odd take... I personally know several people that started, worked, then retired as programmers

SOME people are selfish and greedy by nature and SOME are not. It's almost like nature creates variation and generalizations about humanity as a whole don't cover the nuance of the individual. Any system that relies on EVEYONE to be a rational, compassionate human will fail beacuse you need to account for the inevitable asshole. There are always assholes

I rarely engage but you misunderstood my comment so much i felt compelled. I just mean that once everything is automated and there are no jobs left, there will be no reason for the ruling/owner class to keep the peasant/working class around at all. What self-respecting oligarch wants to mar their view with the smelly, shambling masses when they can have an uncomplaining robot butler bring them anything they want?

if there are no jobs to be done in the first place, then that just means that you don't have a reason to keep the people ~~in these miserable conditions anymore~~.

FTFY

Bear encounters in Japan have steadily risen, as urban development continues to encroach on their habitats and limit their food sources

Stupid bears, let's put put out fake wolves to scare them back to their own habitat that we're destroying!

Copying and pasting doesn't prove your point. HOW did they get the plain text password? Hashes aren't reversible so they must be stored in plain text or are encrypted in a reversible fashion which is an amateur move as well. Either way, they somehow had access to the user's password which is a huge no-no

Most GOS users would not consider these replacements
