I use rclone, not restic, to back up to backblaze. So maybe my advice is not relevant to restic. But what I'm going to say isn't touched on in other comments, so I'll put it out there.

The rclone docs say for Backblaze in particular, users should increase the number of concurrent file transfers because rclone's default (4 concurrent transfers) is too slow on Backblaze. I don't see this mentioned in other rclone docs pages for other providers (of the ones I've looked at: Jottacloud, Overdrive, I forget what else). My impression is it's something about Backblaze. Maybe its something you could look into.

Since I started using Jellyfin and arr, searching and watching have become separate activities. Gone is the experience where I discover something and am watching it immediately. And, search/discovery is done on separate apps than where I watch. So my behaviour has changed. I think ahead. I keep any eye out for what people are watching and download what seems good to me. The payoff is I'm not limited to what's on any particular platform and I don't pay subscription fees.

My gaming PC runs Nobara so I started using Fedora on my general use desktop and my laptop for consistency. I have an older laptop that runs Debian. I have two server machines that run Proxmox and Debian, and all my VMs are Debian except one that is Fedora server (I read somewhere Fedora would provide better GPU support out of the box, but I've never confirmed this, it just works)
