These days it's difficult to tell if it's ragebait or trolling and some people here think things are obvious because we too live in an echo chamber, and some will just downvote and move on if they see something they disagree with or don't like. I wouldn't worry so much about downvotes here, you don't get really buried like on Reddit and it doesnt matter overall (or at all). The Guardian is a very well known centre left newspaper that isn't run by a large news corp, but that doesnt make it fringe, and tabloids are known for low effort journalism/gossip so it doesnt fit those categories. Either way, I hope you don't get discouraged from contributing here if you are genuinely adding to the discourse. If you baitin then ya got me.

The Departed is actually a remake of it.
American director Martin Scorsese remade the film in 2006 as The Departed, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture as well as Academy Award for Best Director, Scorsese's first and only Oscar in his career, and Best Adapted Screenplay.
The irony that they thought that a cabal of child molesters running a global child sex trafficing ring was going to be taken down by Trump. It's like the plot of Infernal Affairs where the triad mole working as a detective is tasked with finding the mole in the department.
The reason for people saying that is individual ones are different sizes and the concentration does vary a little bit but less than the size variation. Grinding them into powder and making weighted potions achieves a lot more control over your dose and if you are getting into tracking how much you take this is very helpful. Never stopped me munching them dry outta bag on occasion though.
We should all listen to Prof Hoakes he knows the real truth about vaccines.
If you look at the orginal on wikipedia the image is much brighter:

E: FWIW in case anyone is interested, I've found if you activate the Blue Light Filter mode on your device it looks white and gold, where as if you deactivate it, it looks blue and black.
I feel like there are so many plots that stem from simple miscommunications or a lack of communication between two charatcers which would easily resolve the whole situation.
Yup exactly I was quoting that part to point out that it was only found in the results of the meta analysis of all the studies in follow up period 1 but I wasnt very specific about that, i.e. I was not intending to validate the title's claim.
Not OP obv, but based on the sample size and NIH reference I found the paper and the following down in the results section:
In the meta-analysis incorporating the time-varying estimates from all 3 cohorts, daily MV use, compared with nonuse, was associated with a 4% higher risk of all-cause mortality in FP1 (HR, 1.04; 95% CI, 1.02-1.07) but not in FP2 (HR, 0.98; 95% CI, 0.93-1.04) (Figure 2).

He's a writer of a book or two and tweets a lot. Whenever I see this guys tweets it's posted by OP and she's somewhat of a power user on Lemmy/Piefed so I think we end up with over exposure to his posts.
Yeah used to be a big fan of his too - Animals, Politics, Extras etc... then he did a Netflix special going on about how you can't make jokes about anything anymore and ripping on trans people just to get people to react and I was out. IDK what it is with Netflix specials and these comedians complaining about being cancelled despite the fact they're saying it on the most popular streaming platform in the world and they decide that some lame jokes about trans people is the best way to demonstrate their argument. Fucking weak.
