[META] This community closes down with lemm.ee instance (lemm.ee)
 

There has been not much traction in this community in the past 2 years since I've started it. Honestly, I didn't do much to improve that, probably I just don't have much drive to build up a community.

So this is it - with lemm.ee instance shutting down, this community shuts down too.

There is another similar community !whatcarshouldibuy@lemmy.world, but it's even less active and I'm not sure if the mod is still on Lemmy - they haven't posted anything for 2 years.

So feel free to post there or start a new one.

I've created this community as a replacement for r/whatcarshouldibuy that I was subscribed to on Reddit. I used it a lot and I valued content and advice there a lot. It definitely influenced my recent car purchases and I'd like to have similar community here in Lemmy.
