Shitty business practices that actively fuck over consumers.

Steam changed that after people complained, rightfully and a lot. Also, them granting a "license" is part of the problem. There's no reason for them to not sell you your own copy of the game other than to benefit shitty game devs.

It honestly never ceases to amaze me how eager some people are to get fucked over by corporations. Why are you even defending this?

Yeah, they were wrong, but they also admitted it in one of the comment threads. Everyone makes mistakes, you don't need to be a dick about it.

Your example was paying rent and the quote is about buying. You do know that there's a difference, right?

Not even close.

Nope. Others are affected too. Even people with a 1V have this problem.

I do get updates but they don't fix the "device is not certified" issue in the playstore. This akso makes some apps refuse to work and google wallet is also disabled. The only solution I found was to root my phone but now face verification in banking apps is not working :( if you google this issue you'll find that there are quite a few users with this issue.

I have an XQ-DE44 that I bought in tokyo and I'm now in europe.

On one hand, yes. However, they have absimal software support (2 major os updates and little to no updates in between). I'm also now having a problem on my 5V where my device is "uncertified" on the play store. I found that lots are having the same issue while Sony provides no solution at all. I had to root it to fix it.

Of the first task? Yikes.

That's not really answer, but ok.

You do realize that what you're saying might've been the goal all along? It's literally an "I'm altering the deal, pray I don't alter it further" vader moment and you're saying you're relieved. Make no mistake, you, me and every single Android user was just fucked over and it'll only get worse.
