As I read it, part of the deal was that RWE is investing that money into natural gas in the US.

Corruption is basically legal at FIFA, and Infantino is very good at it. He has greatly increased the funds for the development of sports infrastructure in smaller football nations. While this looks good on paper, in reality this is him buying loyalty from those countries. Combine that with every country having a single vote in FIFA decisions, and there is not much the big nations can do to get rid of him, even if they wanted to.

Das deckt sich auch sehr mit meinen Erfahrungen. Erst neulich hat ein Praktikant aus dem Ausland über Housing Anywhere sein Zimmer gefunden. Absoluter Wucher, aber finde mal was aus dem Ausland. Immerhin ist er tatsächlich nur wenige Monate hier, und bleibt dort nicht auf Dauer.

 

Die Zeit hat gestern diese Reportage über Slumlords und deren Geschäftsmodell in Berlin und anderswo veröffentlicht. Vor allem die Statistik, dass jetzt die Hälfte aller Angebote möblierte Zimmer sind, ist einfach krass.
