Some senior VP obviously has his annual performance bonus tied to increasing Edge market share, and is pulling shit like this to artificially inflate the numbers.

Ditto for Bing, Copilot, etc.

This is built-in on the latest versions on Android. Open the Settings app, then Battery -> Battery Health -> Battery optimisation and choose Limit to 80%.

Printers leave a watermark on each page indicating the exact printer that it came from. Are there any other examples of these privacy violations that aren't common knowledge? in c/privacy@lemmy.ml

This can also be done via the security cameras mounted in the ceiling.
