Reason for deletion:

It's a waste of time trying to get enough karma and waiting 30 days just to post. I've paid no money to reddit but I'd gladly give another $400 to your competitor, Andrew Torba. I've had a 2 year gab membership and I helped my friend pay his membership with bitcoin. We won't fund reddit because there is no freedom here.

And,

(Above is whay I entered in the form, everything below is just stuff i wanted to write but it wasn't sent to reddit)

Reddit is just a pressure release valve for upset and lonely teenagers and people in their early twenties. If these people didn't have reddit they'd probably overthrow the government or cause trouble in real life. Thankfully for those in power, reddit keeps these miserable people distracted and away from revolution and real life activism.

I never understood having a karma requirement just to post. I had at least 40 karma and it still says I don't have enough so it's a joke to me. Once I get a job again I'll pay $99 USD to Gab and support them. I'm sick to death of these controlled platforms. Inevitably some truths seep through but a lot of stuff is censored. Despite all the restrictions on reddit, most of the posts are low quality crap made by angry and upset teenagers.

Ignoring all the political stuff - the funniest thing I've ever seen on reddit is people who think that xbox is shutting down, so there's no point in buying games on xbox (when the Xbox Series is no longer manufactured you LITERALLY wont be able to play the games!!!!!!!11). Then they threaten to move to PlayStation or Steam or Nintendo, which are all heavily controlled platforms with DRM. Everything is digital license now but the fanboys feel betrayed by Microsoft and threaten to move into the next walled garden lol

I'm currently reading "the trigger" by David Icke. While I won't recommend this book to most people I do enjoy some of his views about freedom and I guess, thinking outside the box and being sceptical about power. Say what you want about 6th of January 2021 but at least those people are not slaves, regardless of how stupid they are. On reddit the peasants exist in a mental prison by their own choice. They are psychologically incapable of curbing their own impulse to consume pop culture merchandise and also psychologically incapable of resisting any of their oppressors or enemies.

When you use reddit you have already surrendered to those in power, because you accept their controlled clown world arena.

Metrojet Flight 9268

2015

UK security service investigators say they suspect someone with access to the aircraft's baggage compartment inserted an explosive device inside or on top of the luggage just before the plane took off.

It wasn't much of an exodus given that nearly everyone is still using reddit.

Damnit I just recorded a video but the audio didn't capture because I think I only plugged in my mic AFTER I opened OBS. Oh well mistake learned!

It's good to have specifics to work towards but sometimes I feel like everyone is trying to create the same kind of video with the exact same intonation.

On YouTube a person can get 300,000 views on a video but then nobody subscribes - subsequent videos only get a few thousand views. That's why I believe it's important to have a community surrounding a channel, maybe if it's political activism it can be promoted with flyers. That's how I imagine doing this, I'd need to reach new people face-to-face and actually be a person who talks about interesting stuff. Not just someone who's online who develops a random audience of people from various countries - that's what I want to avoid. There should be a core audience, ideally a local audience since I live on a tiny island.

Nothing wrong with marketing 101 of course - I tend to ramble! So obviously having a script and editing a video is something I need to work on.

I really admire the long interviews on Rumble by people like Glenn Greenwald. I really don't know his reputation but some of his talks are just fascinating to me. It's a totally different experience to the cheesy-smiley youtubers! Perhaps there's some good stuff on BitChute and Odysee too and I just haven't looked at it for ages. The creativity is better outside of YouTube.

Well enjoy your oookrani solidarity. There's no point in having solidarity with the loser.

I don't care about your stupid reports. I post nazi stuff that doesn't make me a nazi though, I just bought a large russian flag to give an F.U. to the fascists in eastern europe.

Are there any users, big or small who make videos on any platform? I'd like to get into video creation in the future, currently I only make half-assed videos. I'd do more if others were making videos. In 2006 I recall YouTube had a feature called video reply, and people would reply with their real face and voice. But I was only 15 and didn't have broadband so I barely knew of YouTube when it was actually good.

How come reddit and YouTube frequently hide my comments even when it's just something about xbox controllers or video games?

Shadow banning is a deceptive practice and it's part of the reason why my friend and I have supported the CEO of Gab by giving him $400 USD (combined) in subscription fees since 2019.

I'd be glad to use websites like YouTube or reddit if they didn't blatantly censor the truth about nunerous topics. The shadow banning and other unacceptable bullshit pushed me a lot further to the right.

I also realise that reddit is just a pressure release valve for lonely people in their twenties. They can vent about things like how lonely they are, but they face controlled opposition and gatekeepers on every topic. Funny thing is, I never see people moaning about their mental health or personal issues on Lemmy or Gab. People are just healthier and in a better frame of mind. More willing to explain their views.

Reddit keeps the self-hating members of the working class controlled and monitored. They deserve to be slaves for life. Anything beyond that is outside a redditors mental capacity.

Sometimes I like to post hardcore nazi stuff on Gab under my real name but paradoxically I also enjoy reading a lot of lemmyverse posts and sometimes I'll lightly mock people for lols, or I relate to their opinions and experiences (cough landlords). On reddit it's very aggressive and if you don't walk on eggshells you can suddenly be banned from the whole website, especially if you challenge anyone. It's full of weird bugmen insectoid creatures who have no independent thought. These heavy reddit users see nothing wrong with the site and would gladly kneel in a ditch and get executed World War 2 style without putting up a fight.

I have a friend of a friend who converted a moped into an ev moped and it caught fire while he was riding it. Cheap battery! He burned his hand and watched his $5000 project up in flames while he waited for the fire truck.

I worked in a hardware store 5 years ago and they banned e-scooters from the store because of flammable chemicals. The e-scooters couldn't be stored anywhere on site. Only in the boot of a coworkers car on the road.

Yeah if people can make comments but not create threads that's a decent compromise. I've seen what happens on drupal if I dont regulate it. The pp pill advertisements start flooding in lol.

I find it hard to believe that peddit needs you to have a certain amount of karma to post or have an account that is X days old. The CEO of Gab says he blocked pretty much all spam, simply by blocking ip addresses of third world countries. Then he blocked Israel and all the porn bots stopped attacking.

Users of the Peddit website will argue that we need ai moderation and strict rules - but if you just block India, Bangladesh and a few other countries it stops 99% of spam. Of course peddit will never do this because "muh rassisms" and Big Peddit won't do it either because "muh profits" but the evidence speaks for itself.

Next time somebody tells you that you can't block pornography, tell them that Gab has achieved that already. A website where you can sign up, post right away, with no restrictions, yet I never see spam or pornography on gab. I only notice accounts that like and repost which appear inauthentic, but at least they aren't flooding groups.

Peddit exaggerates the amount of bots and intelligence operations as an excuse to crack down on anyone with a new account. There's really no reason to limit new accounts. It's kind of control freaky.

Reddit moment.

Diaclaimer: article from last month.

Power is included but not Internet and there's a laundry that's shared between this unit and the neighbouring unit. On the downside, there is no kitchen sink and only a "mini oven". If this place had a real oven and a kitchen sink then I'd sign up immediately.

Why are we skimping on basic things, like kitchens? I want to cook my own food and eat healthy, not buy takeaways every second day while living off bowls of weetbix and crackers and cheese.

Is there any proof that there's still an earthquake rebuild happening here in Christchurch? It's been 15 years, you'd think we could move on from blaming the earthquake.

Real unemployment is probably even worse.

In many cases, young people are going into jobs without knowing their rights and without knowing what's unsafe. Companies still don't care even after $300,000 fines.

Last Wednesday, Sean Plunket - founder and boss of alternative streaming service the Platform - read aloud a letter he'd had from the BSA telling him someone had objected to Plunket describing Māori tikanga as "mumbo jumbo" earlier this year.
