I think there's a fine line between commiseration and enablement and we should be careful not to tacitly reinforce people's depression. I worry that this sentiment will do more harm than good. There's a quote from Anthony Bourdain,

"There's a guy in my head, and all he wants to do is lay in bed all day long, smoke pot, and watch old movies and cartoons. My life is a series of strategems, to avoid, and outwit that guy",

that I've always strongly related to and I think it's a better message than 'bedrotting is A-OK'.
