Most of the time Chipotle's "new" is just an old protein with a new exotic-sounding seasoning on it.

I agree that this could happen as you described because of online bidding & buying. But any new owners and/or renovation crews show up, I think people could make that new purchase WAY most costly. Word would eventually get around and no one would want to accept those jobs.

They already play a shell game with wages, so they don't pay income taxes. Most of the really rich and successful people have their incomes derived from capital gains and then use the talking point that it's already money that was taxed through their business so it shouldn't be taxed further.

TAX CAPITAL GAINS.

The Speaker of the House has the power to keep everyone in session for as long as it takes to pass anything. Instead of voting over and over until anything passes, he's sent them away. The Democrats COULDN'T vote to pass right now, because only Mike Johnson can call them in to vote.

"now appears certain" is not the same thing as inevitable.

A few matters - About 5-6 years ago - PayPal was going to make telemarketing your phone number a requirement in order to have an account - If you had an account, they were going to FORCE you to allow their 3rd party marketing calls. No opt-out available whatsoever.

PayPal is also an owner of the extension Honey - an extension that promoted they would try every online coupon code to see if you could save money on a deal. Recently (within the last year) it was discovered that even if they didn't provide you with any discount at all - they were still hijacking the referral links that brought you to the shop site in the first place. They were also striking deals to those same vendors about kickbacks to NOT keep the best coupons in their system. Essentially they were taking money from three sides, promoters, vendors, and the purchasers - all while NOT providing the best possible coupon codes - which was the whole advertised point of their service. Lawsuits on this are pending.

I don't choose a payment processor over their morality standards. I choose how to spend my own money, not them. They shouldn't have a say in that matter.

My wife's employment (a national company providing services to homes) not only embraced the remote work that COVID forced her into, they closed down their central customer service call center to save that money.

This year they're talking about taking all the administrative people out of the local offices and only needing the service people pick up supplies and having the remote workers pick up the volume.

Remember when they all claimed they had no problem with LEGAL immigration?

Well yeah, they had a problem with any kind that makes them lose.

As if the Republicans in Congress would have allowed this impeachment to go through punished. His J6 one while he was found responsible, they chose not to punish him over it. They would have brought up the time that Obama did something similar, too.
