It's not that we're solely dumb and incapable of intelligence, it's that many, if not most, will seek the solution with the lowest energy required. In turn, AI is creating a spiraling of learning and knowledge acquisition.

Who knows where civilization lands in 20 years.

Not disagreeing, but there's a good chance somebody will snipe an ice agent and it will set the civil war in motion.

I don't want it, but it's starting to seem like that's the path we've taken.

Is humanity this far gone?

I don't think much can be accomplished by discussing the moral and ethical nuance of roadkill fucking.

For some reason we can't get morally squared away on fucking kids. No need to get distracted with hypothetical "I-40 Bambi" scenarios.

They're eroding the tax base, and expect everyone to be happy with lower effective wages and fewer services.

We should dramatically lower their taxes through a larger deduction by requiring workers be paid appropriately and provided with basic needs.

We could have this if the systems in place didn't provide perverse incentives for sociopaths.

We only need the will to correct the systems, but the sociopaths now have the power of highly distributed propaganda.
