So find a different way to gamble. It's not like there's a shortage.

Education being risky is a feature of capitalism. A sane economic system would not require someone to go into debt to learn a valuable skill.

Maybe those skills shouldn't be so incredibly niche, then. Almost like we should be encouraging people to develop them instead of locking them behind a paywall.

If those people are actually taking home $300k/year after deducting things like business expenses and student loan payments, then they're either way overpaid or they seriously need a vacation.

How many acres of coca fields were eradicated in the US last year?

Let the assholes call it what they want. As long as fascists are terrorizing our cities, we have bigger things to worry about.

Yep. Approximately all the population of the US is under ICE jurisdiction. It's a pity nobody paid much attention to it until now.

We cannot address any of the root causes of fascism while fascists control all the levers of power.

Any action taken against fascists is self-defense. Are you against self-defense?

It says distributors and importers. That's what Google is via the Play Store. Still no reason I can see the disallow side loading, but Google's lawyers, or the EU's, may see it differently.

I've mainly seen this with ^superscript^ notation not being recognized, but I assume there are other differences between Lemmy markdown and what Boost uses.

When I swipe "don't" in Gboard, at least 30% of the time it decides I mean "didn't". I just tested it, and the accuracy was shockingly bad. I'd understand if the strokes were very similar, but "didn't" has a whole extra stroke in it compared to "don't". WTF, Google?
