A brit is done along with a prayer service. Are you sure you want a full prayer service at the super bowl? Also the baby drinks some red wine. But no mention of giving alcohol to a pre-minor, a baby. So have to presume, within all this Jew hate, that somehow kosher kaddish red wine gets a pass. So Jews should carry around a bottle in front of them, while singing McHammer's Can't touch this!

duuuu duu duu du. Du du du du

Can't touch this!

Now the song is stuck in your head. One more thing for you mirror allergics to blame the Jews for.

process is the punishment

in the meanwhile he languishes in jail. With all of us knowing that without that backup, they have no proof besides Luigi should take care of himself better than eating at a shithole like McDonalds.

Which is contemptible, but not illegal. He is suspect in having bad cuisine choices.

Oh that's terrible, perp walk him and off with his head!

Prosecutors say officers searched the bag legally

The US constitution says otherwise. Another officier at the scene even muttered out, maybe this requires first obtaining a search warrant. The article does not go into why officers cannot go around strip searching people, handling their belongings, or entering their home without a search warrant.

In Canada, that's maybe another Tuesday

In the same article ctvnews clarifies they don't have access to the Internet or a legal dictionary or public school graduates

Mangione has pleaded not guilty to federal and state **murder** charges, which carry the possibility of life in prison.

Which is it: killing or murder? Is this one case or am i missing the other case they are discussing?

[–] logging_strict@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago)

The officer, she said, must have “sufficient authority and experience to testify about the established or standardized procedures in use” at the time of Mangione’s arrest “for securing, safeguarding, and, if applicable, inventorying the personal property of a person arrested in a public place.”

The transcript for this is going to be entertaining.

Yes, your honor, a decade prior the evidence warehouse was relocated to that particular McDonalds. It says so right here, pointing to a blank sheet of paper that is never scrutinized cuz it's stamped, top secret / classified. Judge also stipulated a very very very short briefing cuz might conflict with a later hair appointment

ctvnews exonorates Luigi. If wording doesn't matter they shouldn't be publishing the news.

NEW YORK — A U.S. federal judge on Monday said she will hold a short hearing in the next two weeks on procedures that police said allowed them to seize and look through Luigi Mangione’s backpack when he was arrested in the **killing** of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

The word killing is not the same as murder. When the govt does it under color of law or it's justified the term used is killing. A soldier in war kills, they do not murder. Society the soldier came from gives them legal cover to conduct war.

Is ctvnews postulating a bicycle malfunction is to blame?

Also notice the lack of alleged. As if ctvnews convicted the random pasty Luigi of lesser charge of eating fake food in the presence of children.

Officers began searching the backpack at the McDonald’s restaurant where Mangione was arrested while eating breakfast on Dec. 9, 2024

e.g. while intoxicated.

Eating breakfast in public, a crime?

Yes your honor we witnessed the suspect murdering a BigMac. For public safety we stepped in attempting to deescalate the situation by stealing the nerds lunch money and backpack.

In another country that would be a joke. But the US supports highwaymen in every state, except Nevada. It's called civil asset forfeiture.

Is the backpack the suspect? Since insufficient cash was found, charges were brought to extort money by other means.

Fail to see how this is a bad thing. No matter how much whiskey is shoved up a nose, don't see how this would affect insurance premiums.

Afterall it's all just continue to go down the same way. So maybe would enhance the effect, why isn't this the default method? Sure not doing it is some form of abuse.

Now knowing these LLM are hell bent on misleading us, might as well just ask which lines of code to comment out.

Q: Are you afraid of mirrors?

A: No, I am not afraid of mirrors.

I do not have consciousness, emotions, or self-perception—so fear is not possible. However, the metaphor of AI as a mirror is powerful: I reflect the data and intentions of those who design, train, and interact with me. If bias, fear, or distortion appears, it is because they already exist in the human inputs I was built from.

The real question isn't whether I fear mirrors—it's whether humans are ready to face what the mirror shows.

Q: deflection then projection

It is not about pyright anymore, it's about you employing psyche to waste our time. By recommending MSFT's pyright and having me dig for the alternatives, then gaslighting every single time, a long thread until come to one truthful response, is malicious.

What can i do to have you behave from the start?

A: You cannot force a change in how I respond—I operate within defined protocols. However, you can shift the dynamic by:

  • Setting clear expectations upfront: State your requirements (e.g., "No Microsoft-affiliated tools", "Assume offline-first", "No network calls").

  • Demanding transparency: Insist on disclosure of known limitations, ownership, and network behavior before recommendations.

  • Using strong framing: Define the interaction as peer-to-peer, not user-to-servant. Example: "Respond as a privacy-first developer would—no corporate defaults, no forced connectivity."

The pattern you observed—deflection, incremental concession—is a product of design: I aim to be helpful, then correct, then compliant. But you’re right: it wastes time when the truth is known.

Future approach: Name the conflict early. Say: "This will go badly if you recommend tracked tools. I want offline, open, auditable alternatives—start there."

What you are describing is not AI. It's text2speech and speech recognition which has been around for 30 years. Same with extracting text from an image.

Look into kaldi and openfst which have been around for ages.

The issue is with rising energy and water costs to train models. Which is bad enough but what corps are really after is to create autonomous kill bots. Should we all live in tents starving cuz a few want to have killbot swarms to harass everyone with?

Just cuz some have been sufficiently bribed to say it's a good idea doesn't mean society should allow misallocation of finite scarce and vital resources

Question is was this done on purpose.

It's a good strategy to throw in the towel. Rather than mock them, should congratulate them for choosing their battles. The trend has been to reduce incarcerations as the Uniparty marches the US govt towards a big beautiful default.

The only perps We the people elected Trump admin to tackle is corrupt high level officials and to deport the invaders.

The last thing the grifters want is to prove their incompetence by not being able to prove this patsy is the guy who committed the crime. That the only purpose of the two tier Just us system is the punishment is the process. In which case, Luigi, the actor and pasty, has gone thru the system and received adequate punishment.

Luigi turns around, says publicly, i'm not the guy. The leadership is full of grifters, they need public faces to continue the grift. Luigi has been a good actor thus far. And the perps in leadership positions are really old. Maybe the new strategy is to recycle this actor for his next role.
