Haha 'perl', isn't it a scriptting language? I wish I could choose which tools I get to use. Do you work for a startup?

OnlyFans is only for women. I do not have the assets to start one.

You do not get money for being unemployed in Nepal. Pension is only guranteed for government workers. People in private sector have (SSF) which stands for social security fund. A part of their salary + larger part from the employer is deposited there. Other than that we have "bridda bhatta" old age allowance, disability, single women allownace (just finding out this exists, wow!), and a couple more. The people in goverment sector have it a 100 times better. Better pay and lesser work. And let's not forget the pension from our tax money.

what's a wood?

First of all. This is not an insult to the web developers. I live in Nepal where most of the job vacancies are for fronted/backend developers. Even through referees I only get web dev related roles for intern. Every path leads to rome here.

I have no other interests except linux, scripting and web scraping and that's a big problem. I really have no idea what I should learn or make. I am in my final year and I am feeling this sense of urgency which is annoying and overwhelming.

What should I do? I want to learn about Linux and OSes in depth but I also need to be employable. Also, after getting a job how do you learn new things. Since your job will be taking a huge chunk of your time. Education is a scam and I am a removed.

That's a neat feature, every lemmy instance should implement it.

Hey guys despite being on this site for 3 years I still am subscribed to same lemmies. I have searched but I haven't found any active and insteresting lemmies. I'd be really thankful if you guys could give me some recommendations. I am interested in tech, privacy, security, and I like funny memes which are not too political.

Unfair comparison

Most apps will work with just sandboxed play services installed. But, If your app has implemented play integrity checks then you need play store installed, and you need to be logged in too. Only then you'll be able to use banking apps.

Haha. This is the only "social media" account I have.

I am not someone who follows/has interest in Geo-politics. In lemmy homepage majority of posts are political. Those lemmy’s I do not expect to have political posts in them like c/technology, c/memes, c/lemmyshitposts, their top posts are related to politics. My subscribed, local, and all is full of it. Is there a way to filter them out?

Edit: I was able to recover my partitions by creating new partition starting and ending with same exact sectors.

I was copying files from my previous installation to my new Gentoo installation. After I was done. I ran wipefs on /dev/nvme0n1 thinking it is my old nvme drive which is connected through usb. I am in disbelief. Lost all of my configuration files. My perfect installation of gentoo. Just gone. How do I never make such mistake again? Thankfully I had backup of passwords file. Rest is gone. I am sad.
