These last few months have been pretty much a wash in the writing department. We've just had too much on our plates to be able to maintain much sustained focus. Bunch of family health stuff that can be all-consuming, a lasting weather disaster, etc.

But I've been at least noting and outlining ideas and edits as they occur to me. Fingers crossed for a less complicated spring.

Kurt Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle might not explain it, but could add valuable context.

Monty Python has led me to expect Spam.

"Baked beans are off." "Could I have Spam instead..."

I have a 14 year old laptop running Linux Mint that I use daily. Sure, it's had the HD and the battery replaced, but it's still fine for most tasks. An SSD really improved performance.

We see these often. I love their name; Lithobates sylvaticus, which could be interpreted at "the stone that dwells amidst the trees".

He is NOT getting better on the drums.

I can't quite see the skin. Maybe it's a carefully scooped out avo half? I'm just wishfully speculating here.
