This varies a lot by place. In some countries a 4.0 is an excellent score.

I love listening to CBC (the Canadian NPR). It makes me feel more connected to my community, keeping up to date with local news I would not otherwise have known.
Also university and coop radio stations are great for discovering new music.
I suppose "expensive" is a relative term. It's expensive for me, especially when the alternative is free.
I have used Kagi quite a bit, and while I love it, I stopped using it.
- It's expensive.
- They don't contribute to the open internet in any way. Its a closed product.
If either of these things weren't true I'd probably still be paying for it.
My parents put me in a Cantonese class when I was young. We were learning the numbers 1-5. The teacher asked me to say them out loud. I said "1,2,3,4...hmm", I forgot 5. "Correct!". I was confused. Apparently 5 sounds like mmm.
