I don't believe in Tarot.

But I do own a deck because of JoJo's Bizarre adventure and because I have used it in my homebrew DnD campaigns to signify allies and enemies (like Persona 5).

I would 100% carry The Fool if I had a clear phone case, because whimsy.

There is nothing wrong in having one around.

... so they precision struck those targets then?

Your problem with Ryan Grim is he didn't paint a bad enough picture?

He was poking fun at the framing. It should have been "my sister and her husband"

"My sister and husband" has the same grammatical framing as "my friend and classmate". It denotes the same person.

Sounds like a bank interest problem, no?

If all I need to beat is 1.1% annual growth rateon my investments, I would take loans against most of my assets and turn a profit.

Why the low interest rates in the banks in your country?

Why do banks do this? Sounds like a favor.

Might be a silly question –
Why not get taxed by selling it once and for all instead of paying interest on the loan against it for years.

In the long run won't interest surpass the one time tax?

Also assuming they invest the surplus after the sale, it should be the cheaper option.

Not if we get him when he's returning from a grocery run.

I'm Indian too, so think of it as our n-word.

The cs-word if you will.

That's just the Indian in you bro.

I'm currently job hunting and looking for a platform to prep for interviews.

Leetcode is nice but it locks hard problems behind a paywall that I honestly can't afford right now.

I mean I can still read the problem from https://leetcode.ca/, but it's hard to test it against a good set of test cases.

Please share alternative portals with a decent hard problem collection with testcases

This is usually found in really cheap products and looks and sounds metallic (rings a bit when dropped) , but I'm not sure if it is one.

The pictured cross section shows the greyish metal (the gold is just paint).

The cross section feels coarse and has tiny glittering specks. It also looks a bit porous (tiny air bubbles seem to be present in this alloy)

It's also pretty weak - a pencil like object made from this stuff can easily be snapped in two with your bare hands.

Thanks!

This is shamelessly stolen from some other community on Lemmy. I can't find that post anymore but I'd be happy to link it here if anyone does know.

Just a speck this year, 2025 gonna be lit!
