I'm disappointed that it looks like Palestine is not being included in these discussions

Did you purchase a book or a license?

Is this legit in the table? I thought Lebanon was included only but it would be fantastic if the MOU was including Palestine as well

Sugar in fruit is perfectly healthy, it does not have the same negative health effects as processed sugars. This website has links to studies as the sources if you want to read them. If you don't know much about nutrition, that is one of the best websites to learn. It's non-profit, has the info available for free there and on YouTube and provides all the studies supporting it. A lot of what the general public thinks about diet was designed by food corporations who have no interest in your health or wellbeing

Maybe better than reclamation is to make our own federated version. Like we're on lemmy because we decided not to take bullyish behavior from Reddit

It's cheaper to buy a refurbished tablet that is known to work with your target distro. Ubuntu touch lists Lenovo tablets that are under $100 for refurbished

Not for most people. Most people have access to plant based protein sources like beans, seeds, nuts and whole grains. Beans are cheaper than meat generally too. Plus they're significantly healthier so there's reduced healthcare needs. And way better for the environment. So yeah for most people it's just for fun

I thought others would be interested in this network stack called reticulum. I really love the idea of building a decentralized internet that allows wide communication without reliance on big tech. This could be useful in something like a natural disaster or a situation where a government is interfering with communications (esp since it can be portable). It is not fast enough for something like streaming, but can be used for text based communication and is encrypted. It does have some existing applications for both desktop and android. I'm going to try it out and will report back on how it works
