Another Terry Pratchett reader! I think you take the cake for the largest to read list I've ever seen at more than 2,800 - good for you!

Thank you for sharing your recommendation and profile link, I will be browsing in depth.

Searches: selfhood in the digital age stands out as one I'm very interested in

Great list - a lot of people will benefit from you sharing that. I'm particularly interested in Jesus and John Wayne and Masters of Deception. You would have quite the variety of knowledge in your brain from all these topics!

Terry Pratchett is popular I see. Thank you for this and your HUGE to read list, I look forward to trawling through

Yessss! This excites me an enormous amount. Thank you for mentioning those two. Even from a quick initial look I can see some I've read and enjoyed and some I absolutely want to add to my list. The Agony of Eros - I would never have come across that but I'm intrigued

That is a really good consideration. From what I can see it has quite a small user base (but hopefully growing) and no app - but do you use it? How do you find it?

Wow, you are a big reader! Even with a lot of fiction, I enjoy absorbing the books in their totality, partly for recommendations but also to get to see someone else's tastes and interests. Thank you

Thank you for mentioning this! I often trawl through lists online to find nonfiction reads but I know there's so much to discover that may not be featured elsewhere. What a great concept

If there are any non fiction Storygraph (non-amazon owned alternative to Goodreads) users out there willing to share your username, please comment or DM me.

I'd like to see everything you've read/are reading for my own curiosity / to potentially add to my list. I love non fiction (sociology, memoir, politics, philosophy, feminism, history, health, art/poetry etc) but don't know anyone with quite the same tastes. I use the app feature to find similar users but it's a bit hit and miss.

To add some value to this post related to a specific book, my best somewhat niche recent recommendation is Darkness Now Visible by Carol Gilligan and David A.J Richards. They offer a fascinating and well written thesis about patriarchy in modern society

I've not got the stomach for space travel, I don't want millionaires to colonise mars. It'd be nice to address the mess we made here before jetting off to ruin the stars

I'm hoping Cory Doctorow's The Reverse Centaurs Guide to Life after AI will be a bit of an antidote afterwards

Naomi Klein and Astra Taylor's End Times Fascism. Someone help, I need comfort. I feel somewhat compelled to understand the forces at play reshaping the way we live (or don't live). But it is harrowing.
