I'm an American and fuck it sure feels like actually getting bombed would help people see what war really fucking is. I don't think it'd end well, but it might be a lesson we actually need.

Still kinda means you can reset your current crap life and hope for a better future one, even if you don't get to remember everything about the previous one(s). I mean, I'd personally argue it's functionally different lives at that point, but there's still a primitive part of me that feels like it counts as a continuation of me even though everything that makes me will be lost.
Depends on where you lived. Sorta like a soda vs pop vs coke situation.
I mean, ok? I'll live as a billion bugs until I come back as a human or something... but I will come back.
Probably more like in 10-15 years, but yeah. They're definitely missing the point. 20-30 years ago nobody would have thought something like modern day America could have happened.

They're simply stupider than you thought. They buy into hype so fast without really listening to the experts already on the team.
If prosecuting everyone in the files causes the collapse of the system, that kinda implies the system is bad and needs collapse.
I think it'll strongly depend on how intrusive it ends up being.
I would love to get away from our current 2 party system...
But until then please we have to stop electing the tyrant side.
