New explanation for why planes are falling out of the sky just dropped.

Also pre-emptive volcel-kamala

42% of americans play video games for at least 3 hours per week 🥴

Naya for Iraq on telegram is reporting that another amerikkkan plane got shot down over Iran. الله أكبر

I randomly saw a tweet saying that the USA would run out of oil by April 15. Obviously I have no idea if this is accurate. (The USA currently imports 10% of its oil from West Asia.) But...what if it is accurate? Or what if the USA runs out of oil in a few months instead? Will we see bread riots, a possible revolution, or capitulation to Iran?

I randomly imagined an officers' coup where the military and some bourgeoisie cut their losses and agree to Iran's proposals, withdrawing the US military from West Asia, paying reparations for the war and decades of sanctions, and purchasing oil from the region in yuan. In this scenario, the USA continues to exist but is severely weakened, and the ruling class has to figure out how to sell things to China in order to get yuan to purchase oil. It's basically Neo-Weimar / American Weimar / Weimar USA. "Israel" vanishes and 90%+ of its settler population somehow makes its way back to western countries.

I know this is a wildly optimistic scenario. I'm just spitballing. How do you imagine things shaking out over the next few months?

Explanations I've seen:

  • to drive up oil / gas prices (the problem is that the prices are too high, which accelerates the global green energy revolution and the end of the fossil fuel industry while destabilizing western "society"; successfully seizing Iran's oil would have presumably lowered prices too);

  • Trump's ego, bolstered by Maduro's kidnapping and the seemingly successful counter-revolution in Venezuela; the imperial ruling class thought they were invincible because they haven't suffered a really palpable defeat since Vietnam (I guess Afghanistan / Yemen doesn't count...);

  • to protect the Zionist entity and the Gulf Monarchies and also to shore up American influence in the region;

  • to slow China's rise (Iran supplies lots of China's fossil fuels);

  • a distraction from the Epstein files;

  • lots of powerful ghouls have been itching to do this since 1979;

  • to stop Iran's nonexistent nuclear weapons program;

  • to game the stock market.

Did I miss anything? What are the most plausible / implausible explanations? Are they all valid? I'm not sure, I'm asking because I want comments / critiques. Also, are we headed to a permanent nationwide blackout in the USA (as predicted by The Simpsons) and the Mad Max-ification of all but the top 10% or will things "go back to normal"? Or will this just become another Ukraine War?

Bonus Q: how are the libs and chuds you know reacting to the war? My spouse thinks that Iran is currently winning but the USA will eventually prevail 🥴

I actually saw this car recently.

Wondering how much of this is legitimate brain damage versus the teachers just being assholes. And maybe both students and teachers are brain-damaged? Toward the beginning there’s a purple-haired white woman teaching an eighth grade history class, and she has some pretty disturbing anecdotes about students being unable to follow very simple instructions. But I also just noticed that her anecdotes featured the US constitution…and so if I’m a student in her class, what are the consequences for mentioning that this is a document written by slave-owners? She seems nice enough but also still just part of the machine.

I worked as a teacher for years and in my limited experience, teachers tend to be libs who are nonetheless more open to actual leftwing ideas than most. I live in a very white but lib area.

Sorry, had this on my mind for awhile. Epstein might still be alive and gaming in Tel Aviv, but even if he's dead, his spirit is very much alive.

Like the worst these people have to deal with is resigning from "leading" their BS nonprofits. Some government officials had to resign from their positions in Europe. All of these people had 99% of their work done by their secretaries anyway, guaranteed. They still keep their mansions, servants, gourmet food, personal trainer rent-a-friends, endless money, and private jets. They still go on TV every day and talk for hours about how smart they are with interviewers who play right along with them. They sleep well. They feel good. In private, their friends and family are reassuring them that it's all a bunch of nonsense and eventually the brainless masses will forget it ever happened. Meanwhile, if I drive five MPH over the speed limit, I could get pulled over and end up surrendering the day's wages to the pigs (or worse). If I lose my job, I can look forward to months or years of unemployment and possible homelessness.

Someone said that one difference between the rich and poor now is that the rich do stuff, while the poor can only watch. I have known about Epstein for seven fucking years. I remember where I was when he died (I was working for his fucking billionaire friends). All this new information about Epstein is great, but it doesn't really change the fundamentals, which have been public knowledge for many years now. People who are interested in Epstein spend hours going through the files and talking about it...and that's it. No further action. No organizing. Nothing that really scares the bourgeoisie. Because even if Epstein is dead, his spirit is very much still alive, and maybe even stronger than ever. These fuckers really have us by the throat, otherwise the riots would be nonstop and omnipresent, and there would be vanguard parties seizing territory and power.

Wondering if it's just me and my own legitimate fuck-ups at work or if this is possibly part of a broader trend. I've been at my current blue collar job for almost two years. For the first few months I was just training and not touching anything, but I've been on my own for about a year and a half. Starting maybe six months ago, my managers have called me into meeting after meeting, usually every few weeks, to talk about how I suck and how they're going to fire me. In their defense, I was legitimately fucking up. And before you tell me to unionize: I already talked about it with my coworkers (white males on the older side) and they aren't interested. I'm on my own at this job for 99% of the time I'm out there so I barely talk with them anyway.

One manager called me recently to thank me for my hard work. Two meetings ago, he basically said I had nothing to worry about, with regard to one of my recent fuck-ups; then we just had another meeting yesterday where he and another manager once again threatened to fire me (over the same fuck-up). We have regular safety meetings with my coworkers—a few safety meetings ago, the managers gave us a list of items all of us needed to have in our work vehicles. One meeting later, they told us we had too many items in our work vehicles. They're just kind of all over the place, and I'm wondering if this is because they're under pressure from their superiors or market trends or they feel emboldened by Trump? What do you think?

We like to say that they're the same, but there seems to be some kind of difference. In the USA, a liberal will usually prefer wine, foreign cars and food and media, basketball, CNN and The New York Times. A fascist will prefer beer, American cars and food and media, football, and Fox News. One votes for Democrats, the other votes for Republicans. One is obsessed with Russia, the other with China. One at least pays lip service to LGBTQ+ folks, the other wants them in concentration camps. One is happy to have people of color in positions of power, so long as they toe the capitalist line, while the other rages against this. One tends to have a college education, the other doesn't (although plenty of chuds work in tech or are engineers of some sort). One tends to work in offices, the other tends to be a business owner and/or landlord, although American labor unions are full of liberals and conservatives (it's the same for non-unionized blue collar workers). Liberal business owners tend to be in the service industry (especially restaurant owners, in my experience), while conservative business owners are more concerned with resource extraction or anything related to fossil fuels. Liberals tend to be more articulate (with notable exceptions), while conservatives can barely form sentences, even when they're just speaking.

What makes a person a liberal or conservative? I'm defining these people here as anyone who participates in federal elections in the USA, roughly half of the people trapped in the USA. They tend to have at least have some money and property. I guess a white male cis born in the countryside is likelier to become a fascist, while a similar person born and raised in cities will probably be more liberal. But there are plenty of exceptions. Epstein and most of his friends are kind of difficult to classify here. It seems that it's easier to tell these people apart when they're in the labor aristocracy / petite bourgeoisie, not in the haute bourgeoisie.

We determined awhile ago on Hexbear that most of the posters here come from liberal backgrounds, so what pushed us out of liberalism into communism? (We've also had this discussion several times, sorry for reviving it.) Dialectically, the contradiction of the individual versus society determines this, along with subjective factors. I remember noticing homeless people when I was five; I was drifting toward communism in high school because I was so unhappy with the pointlessness of my education, but in college I was much happier and veered back toward liberalism again, and stayed that way for years. As an adult I taught overseas, used universal health care many times, then made the mistake of returning to the USA, got involved in politics, and discovered that I was playing for the wrong team, because liberals (especially the richest and most powerful liberals) are so rabidly against universal health care, despite the fact that it costs them so much more money and so many more years of their lives to be this way. This basically radicalized me permanently. But even now, so many liberals are planning to vote for the blue genocide pedophile party over the red genocide pedophile party, it seems like nothing except years of re-education (+ the total destruction of the USA) will ever change their minds. The same for conservatives, of course.

Just some thoughts I've been meaning to post here for awhile, I'm posting for critique.

So I have two kids, 11 and 14, and I think they’re actually older than any of the other kids that other users on this website might have. Like a good communist, I made sure to brainwash my children when they were young, and I even homeschooled them for the first three years of the pandemic. Eventually they asked to go back to school and I couldn’t really stop them. They’ve actually had a great time there, they’re doing really well and they seem very popular, but especially my older kid has been having such a good time that he started doubting that America was bad, and has just kind of been drifting into liberalism, although I could still get him to say cool things like free Palestine, which liberals won’t usually say. He also developed a serious interest in sports, sadly just watching rather than playing, and I don’t know where that comes from because neither of his parents are really interested in watching sports, but seemingly it’s what everyone at his school loves. He was also repeating a lot of the usual liberal nonsense to me about China and the Soviet Union.

Anyway, over the last couple of weeks he’s become pretty obsessed with Epstein, and has been sending me lots of TikTok videos about the usual Epstein-related things, and yesterday he just suddenly told me that ”maybe the commies are the good guys because at least they aren’t eating children.” He stopped arguing with me about China and the Soviet Union, and seems slightly more interested in getting a more left perspective on these and other similar subjects. I don’t know how long this will last, but it’s just a minor hopeful sign. I know that most liberals and conservatives are just kind of doing their best to focus only on how Epstein implicates their enemies, rather than the system itself, but some people at least might be shaken out of the capitalist ideological paradigm.

How does a country with many diverse cultures, some of them thousands of years old, create a narcostate, exactly? And given that the USA is controlled by pharmaceutical companies with many people here addicted to drugs, doesn’t the USA also qualify as a narco state? How does its “culture” contribute to this situation? And does its “culture” also mean that the CIA has to fund Mexican gangs?

Imagine thinking that democracy has ever existed in the USA. The only thing that changes people's minds (i.e., teaches people to have empathy for other human beings) is re-education camps.

Why is it that people living in former Soviet states overwhelmingly wish that the USSR was still around?

And then Japan did a wholesome enslavement/genocide in Korea, China, and a bunch of other places 🥰
