While probably true, it’s not like I can trust Guinness World Records on this.

Both Valve and Epic are private companies and thus have a bit more of a say over what they do than public companies would. Sweeney actually just answers to himself, and I mean that pejoratively, otherwise he would have invested in EGS more to compete with Steam and focused more on Unreal Engine’s near-monopoly in the AAA space.
Instead, he focused on “owning” the metaverse, and courting crypto. If I were a shareholder, I would say he wasn’t acting in my best interests.
Finally.
Yep. Godot and Blender I think
Reopening the government without ACA subsidies literally kills people when they can’t afford their new premiums. There are people for whom affordable access to healthcare is the difference between life-saving medication and, well, the lack of that.
Starvation of people on SNAP is also literally the GOP’s stated goal. If Dems fund the government and let those people who need healthcare die, the GOP isn’t going to play nice and keep funding SNAP. They’re gonna gut it like they’ve always dreamt of doing anyway. They already signaled this with the BBB.
I know this is a tiny percentage overall, but it’s a very substantial boost to the Linux percent, perhaps correlating with Win10 losing free security updates, and a minority of savvy gamers swapping to Linux. (Myself included, so obviously bias to my statement)
Yeah, I chose it since it’s at least local-only. Much higher doubt Apple can ever take that integration from me - and if they do, I can just stay on a Home Assistant version that doesn’t.
I swapped from Nest to Ecobee. Working in Home Assistant via HomeKit. All is well. Thanks Google!
Even if you were already vaccinated, your body sees the virus and makes more of whatever it needs to in order to kill it when it finds it. Then your body will keep more of that antibody around for the future because it … happened again.
People have varying strengths of their immune system outside of autoimmune diseases, they’re not equal. One person’s natural ability to fight off a disease is not the same as another’s. Immune systems also can get overwhelmed. People can even get multiple viruses at the same time.
While scientifically, if I’m not mistaken, natural immunity tends to be a stronger form of immunity once the person survives a disease, surviving the disease is of course not a guarantee for anyone. Vaccination, when available, reduces the chance a person dies to a disease in the same way that warning somebody about something allows them to take preparatory action.
Prefer? Vaccination every time if available. I don’t like getting diseases my body has to scramble to fight.
Generally, no. If a person has access to your home folder, it doesn’t matter if site-data is site-data or some UUID, the person can still look around and find that data. How to do so would be on the internet, in the source code for Firefox.
Firefox simplifies its engineering efforts and makes site-data clearly visible to the proper user by relying on the system’s security measures instead of inventing its own bespoke ones.
