How many hours ago was the first threat? I feel like we keep repeating ourselves.

After 20 years. [Of using Linux] But none of these computers are easily compatible with Linux. It's possible, yes, but hardly simple.

What Linux distro are you using in 2026 that still struggles with hardware driver support for mainline systems from a manufacturer you've heard of? Most driver hardship these days stems from putting Linux on locked down or uncommon/ niche hardware. Basically any system you've listed will do fine without tinkering, pick the system you want with the features you need, buy it, then install Linux. I bet most things just work out of the box.

That tends to be the general way things go with all Google products.

Not a single client with any external plugins uses new Outlook, are they not aware of this? We can't use New Outlook with add-on support for apps that have existed for decades. You can't just abandon add-ons in Outlook, Microsoft.

Anybody got a link for a little background on this meme? You have my interest...

I still have clients refusing to buy Office 365 subscriptions and insist on sticking with their old copies of Office 2016. I'd love to see how Microsoft is gonna convince those cheap fucks that this is the correct path forward. This OS is dead.

I think you need to install pipewire-pulse and pipewire-alsa. Make sure you have the pipewire.service and pipewire-pulse.service services enabled and started. What app are you using to make the app connections?

Raysession is better than Carla, it'll automatically content the connections for you.

Something's up with my ability to doom scroll, I'm not able to go much more than maybe 100 posts or so before the main feed stops loading posts. I'm only able to refresh back to the beginning by exiting the app completely and starting fresh which just recycles most of the same content.

I'd really prefer having the 1 touch view option back, while the image browser window likely has its uses I don't like it popping up for every image. Thanks for your efforts!

I just got a new phone and I can't figure out how to transfer my Connect settings over. Would be super cool if I could export an XML file or something.

When I try to filter a non-English language post I've found that frequently the instance I wanted blocked is not what's added to my block list.

For example, when I try to block the following instance it's adding mastedon.social instead of OP's instance lemmy.eco.br: https://mastodon.social/users/ademir_lemmy_br/statuses/112058841341083344
