The article talks about how French and German Universities have more sovereign tech stacks while the Netherlands has been offloading more to US tech giants like Microsoft. I'm assuming this is due to cost and economy of scale.

Maybe the Netherlands should join Germany or French tech stack for cost saving measures?

This isn't just Catholic church thing. It's rampant in any religion, organization, hierarchy, etc. where the person on top of the totem pole demand obedience, they are insulated from outside accountability, and there is a culture of secrecy.

Go probe Ultra-orthodox Jews, Amish community, Quranic Schools. It's rife with sexual abuse.

This sounds insane.

I would disagree vigorously if the minister said they wanted to build coal power plants, but at least you can make the case for it under the guise of domestic energy security. But methane gas power plants? It doesn't help with climate goals, it's not cheap to purchase LNG and it doesn't help with energy security either.

Is she double dipping from US and Russian oil lobby?

Not in Memphis, because that's predominantly Black Americans.

Usually the Southern Republican government grants permits for these types of polluting facilities in non-White communities.

EU really needs to at least get off of American tech in government service. Our tax shouldn't be going into their pockets.

Feasible, yes. Practical, hard to say. Good idea, yes.

RISC-V is open-source architecture based in Switzerland (although it started in University of California).

One thing going for it is China is spending billions a year towards RISC-V adoption so they do not get sanctioned by the US. You need money and engineers working on it towards these type of open source to compete with existing players.
