While you're correct, since 1998 the book has been published as October Sky for that very reason. Fun fact, October Sky is an anagram of Rocket Boys

They don't have to. They never went away. They can't actually get rid of them. However, they don't actually push them and never really officially sold them. If you walked into your local Catholic Parish and asked for a plenary indulgence, they'd let you know how to get one
