Kung Pow

I, I, I, I, weweeuuuwuuu wuuuuu wuwuwowu hehehewuwuwuwoooo

The whole movie is masterfully stupid, and I would argue ahead of its time. If it came out in the late 2010s/2020s would have been a ton more popular with the GenZs "lol so random" humor

Enders Game (and the whole series) is a bit different, as unlike Harry Potter they are actually trying to teach a lesson in empathy and understanding instead of just being a fun magical romp.

To this day I have literally no idea how the Orson who wrote those books became the man he did. He lives his life by the antithesis of the ideals he preached.

Man, I am 38. When I was in highschool I was in an alternative curriculum Math program called IMP, and it is/was literally what your talking about.

Instead of memorizing equations we were instead given a hypothetical situation and learned to solve it socratically both through conversations as a class with the teacher, and in small groups to try and figure out how to solve it. It made me love math so much I almost made it my life, it was literally everything I needed as a severely ADHD teen. Everything was a puzzle to be solved, and when you solved it you gained not just knowledge, but the perspective to know where the knowledge applies.

Thanks for the tip about preheating! I bought a set of Allclad mostly so I could go from stove to oven to finish, but haven't bothered to learn how to correctly cook eggs in them (have a carbon steel crepe pan that is the designated egg pan, highly recommend). The rest of the reason for them is that they are nigh on unfuck-up-able.

Oh that's the best part, since it's memes honestly never know if it's even meant to be completely sensible. So even if it does hallucinate, just adds a bit of spice 🤌🤌

I also like the thought that probably billions was spent to make something that is best suited for deep frying memes

If I understand how AI works (predictive models), kinda seems perfectly suited for translating text. Also exactly how I have been using it with Gemini, translate all the memes in ich_iel 🤣. Unironically it works really well, and the only ones that aren't understandable are cultural not linguistic.

Yepo. I was on a 72hr hold after a manic episode caused by a med interaction (Wellbutrin, took away the mild depression but let the massive anxiety run wild) and it was the worst fucking experience of my life. Literally just stick you in a program that doesn't give a fuck about why your there, just headcount they can bill for. I was perfectly fine like 2hrs after I got locked in and spent the remaining 70hrs climbing the walls.

0/10 Do not recommend. And this was in Massachusetts, a place wildly known for good healthcare.

My dude, they are black bagging people off the street and now our AG says ICE can walk into your home without a warrant.

If anything I am behind the curve.

In my head I called it The Scarlet Letter and the logo was a giant red burning T.

Not that I have put thought into it or anything 😅

I wanted a similar site but to track houses with Trump signs up. Have to upload pictures for the record, and cross referenced with MLS listings/sales so everything is expunged on property transfer.

No particular reason to keep this info around. Just a curiosity.

Same thing but with half a lemon, allegedly the acidity helps to loosen stuck on garbage. Also maybe not 11min.

Upside, smells like lemon

Downside, no potato

Dude, Valheim and Terraria are both numbers. Don't think there's a single survival crafting game that isn't numbers. Your not beating any of the late game bosses in starter armor, even existing in the areas they reside requires bigger numbers. Not so say their aren't mechanics, but they both rely on enemies getting spongier to force you to make your gear (numbers) better. Basically if you can use gear to brute force a solution, it's numbers.

Ninja Garden is mechanics. Shooters are mechanics. Furi is mechanics. Your power level stays more or less the same, the enemies change but don't really get tankier, but they force new/different tactics. If you get upgrades it's mostly to bypass older enemies which you've already mowed down dozens of times.

This is all imo.

Did over two 2.5-3hr sittings. Wanted to finish it up the first day but it was 11pm and we were getting tired.
