Thanks for your report. While looking for a daylight therapy panel I glanced over the reviews for red light panels and people were raving over them. Seems there is some truth to that. Congratulations for getting rid of your asthma. Know how that feels. Had pollen allergies through my whole teenage and young adult years which are completely gone now. I attribute starting running and exposing myself to that MFs.

You mean infrared, right? What positive changes die you experience?

I've read your posts and the ones of those you had the pleasure to talk to. I appreciate your commitment to the fight against dis-info. I'll just answer to both of your comments with this comment and hopefully keep it short because I hate this whole topic and how much time this all sucks out of our lifes just because we succumb to culture wars and being the instruments of those inciting them.

First. I think I'm not parasocial. I just watch him (like most of us I guess), because he gives us easy consumable but knowledgeable insights into complicated historical and current geopolitical events. I picked up quite a few topics and read up on them I wasn't aware of before I started watching him.

Him reporting and exposing himself on political events talking to the base and doing interviews with a lot of progressive politicians shows he is far from the sheltered grifting political arm-chair commenter, haters here and in the highest circles of spin-doctoring want him to paint as.

As you sharply described in your post with the "and yet you participate in society" meme, I'd too rather watch political analyses by someone whose opinions match my personal ideas of a just world, him being a millionaire or not. Bernie Sanders is a millionaire too, I guess, but I love listening to him as well. And opposed to consumers of content from real grifters, I don't think I'll ever be a millionaire.

Heck, Hasan interviewed two billionaires with political ambitions recently who had surprisingly progressive views and plans. Yes nobody should be a billionaire but if they at least really want to do good with their money, they can live. See MacKenzie Scott. And those claiming Hasans trip to Cuba was just egocentric self-promotion, has no idea how much he burns for recitifying the injustice Cubans are exposed to by the US.

OMG. Now it has become a wall of text again and I haven't even addressed any points of your observations on the video. I agree with you in what you wrote. Yes the dreaded internet problems and him being jet-lagged wouldn't justify him mishandling his dog. But as the trainer pointed out, he wasn't doing this at all even when he slightly yelled at her. Yes the clips he reacted to were very condensed and didn't show any of the million of interactions he had with his dog clearly showing he's a reponsible handler.

But it all doesn't matter anyway, as we all know this is all part of a big political assassination campaign and the critics bringing this up care as much about Kaya as they care about the animals they have on their plates (as Hasan doesn't either, btw).

Here's a video from a professional dog trainer, who claims he didn't know Hasan prior, analyzing the incident and the device. He concluded that it wasn't a shock- but a vibration-collar (or used as such). He did not see any misconduct from Hasan. I read somewhere the trainer was massively harassed after the video.

AFAIK he doesn't run AD's. Watching him for a year now. I've never seen any sponsored content. Maybe he gets money from the politicians he interviews on stream but I doubt it. He only invites those who he has a serious interest in growing their platform. He doesn't seem to sell out. He regularly mentions his work is solely sponsored by his viewers. I don't claim that he isn't a multi millionaire but I don't see how this invalidates his positions or work.

In addition he send the ICE goons to airports. I've seen pictures where they operate the computer-terminals. Some looked like teens. Can't say if they're at JFK too, though.

Stromberg is Germany's "The Office", btw.

"Die Anstalt" is goated, yes. On the more lighter side I like Pastewka, Sketch History (basically Germany's Monty Python), Die Familie Heinz Becker, Mitternachtsspitzen, Kalkofes Mattscheibe and Loriots as well as Gerhard Polts movies and series (very dated though sometimes timeless).

Don't know about Apple. My impression is that they take privacy pretty serious. Android though has since a few version ago a green dot in the notification area that indicates when the microphone is active. Also you can set the apps to always ask the user if they want grant the permission for microphone recording. There are also buttons to deactivate the microphone and camera completely.

So yeah it's easier then ever with current Android versions to not be spied on if the user invests 5 mins to set the microphone and camera permissions of all apps to always ask when used. Like you said other spying IOT devices and data retention (at least for traffic data) at the provider level pose a much greater risk for surveillance.

In recent years, genetic studies have demonstrated that, at least paternally, the various Jewish ethnic groups and the Palestinians are related to each other. Genetic studies have shown that Jews and Palestinians are closer to each other than the different Jewish groups are to their respective host countries. At the haplogroup level, defined by the binary polymorphisms only, the Y chromosome distribution in Arabs and Jews was similar but not identical.

Not to mismatch with the people living in modern Israel which are often Western or East Europe descendants.

Just watched the first video. It's 6 years old but the evidence presented seemed undoubtedly like Instagram and FB were listening to conversations and aggregating the info together with geolocation and surfing behaviour. The insta CEO tried to deflect it with insinuating that the user must have searched for specific keywords previously but the journalists specifically tested it with words in conversations they never exposed their phones to before. 20 mins later they got AD's on insta.

That's a blatant overgeneralisation. The biggest mass protests in recent decades were against the AfD. Especially after their secret Wannsee Conference 2.0 in November 2023 (which sadly was ruled against the investigative collective Correctiv to be libel in favour of the AfD by a court 2 days ago), but also in the recent 2 years after multiple landslide wins of them in elections.

Yes, a concerningly huge amount of people fall for the propaganda of their charismatic mouthpieces like Alice Weidel, overwhelmingly in the east Germany ex-GDR federal states where neonazism is brooding since the 90s and the youth was successfully indoctrinated by their parents generations and the political education regarding our dark past was way weaker then in the West. Couple that with a perceived (and often actual) economical disadvantage of east Germany and the AfD's refined propaganda on TikTok and Facebook and you got this perfect storm.

Sadly in south Germany they got more strong over the years too, especially during Corona where the strategy was to fabricate a Corona and vaccination dictatorship, which fell on fertile ground with the boomers who more and more get duped by generative AI and tailored algorithms and CDU figureheads (who a lot of the boomers trust, because of their alleged economic competence), pondering a possible cooperation with the AfD.

But overall I think (hope) for many folks here the genocide in Gaza was an eye opener and they did a bit of research about Israel's past and are not not in favour unconditional support anymore. Guys like Smotrich or Ben-Gvir, the settler violence, the Nakba etc. aren't unknowns anymore. And we can very well distinguish between Jewish people and Zionism. The ones who seem to not be able to do that are some politicians and organisations who allege protesters of antisemitism and supress those violently. Just like in the UK and the US.
