Are you serious? There was also an original Metal Gear Solid soundtrack in it's original cardboard case.

Thrift stores won't even set them out anymore. They go straight to ebay.

Look for the ones that are run by a church or charity. They're less greedy and profit motivated. They get tons of retro professional music equipment from churches updating their media stuff.

Bitter sweet because I'm pretty sure this means we lost real one. RIP

It's church thrift store run by elderly people and they get overwhelmed and will just toss anything on a whim. They practically give away the stuff they do sell.

One of those fell in my washing machine when I wasn't looking and it got emptied during the cycle.

Ruined my clothes and the machine wasn't happy about it but it eventually worked fine after a few cleaning cycles.

The "liquid nails" type of expanding foam however, I'm pretty sure that would fuck up anything.

Paying someone to do a crime is the same as doing the crime.

Cause --->Effect.

Data Centers are like that 1897 synthesizer. Sure, it works, but at what cost? It clearly isn’t ready for prime time. Go back to the drawing board, tweak the problems, including regulations, and maybe in a couple of decades, we take another run at the new and improved version.

The issue with AI is not a technical or development problem. It's not even a regulation problem. It's a capitalism problem. Infinite growth will still be as unscalable in a hundred years as it is now no matter how good and mature the tech is.

In 1897, they built the first music synthesizer. It worked, but it took up the basement of an entire city-block sized building, so it was essentially useless. After a few decades of development, it could fit in a suitcase, and be carried around.

As per the 1890s, it probably also had to be lubricated with orphaned child blood.

Too bad bad about the disc. I get replacement jewel cases by pulling junk music CDs out of the local thrift store's trash cans and then toss the inserts.

This is humiliation and punishment of the US military for failing to give Trump a victory in Iran. He doesn't like losers.

Thanks for being screw worm buffer zone. At least it's giving nicer states more time to prepare.

I doubt they'll get that through before the midterms. Largely thanks to the backlash against AIPAC. But it's not like they'll lift a finger to walk back any other monstrous shit Trump has made into law.

The hard truth is that winning without support of AIPAC has been really hard in the past. Certainly a part of the reason Bernie never became president for example. This only started to turn with Gaza.

Well maybe the the Democrats who felt they couldn't win without AIPAC support should move to Israel and try their luck over there. They say they hate Netenyahu, well they can run against him! (Looking at you Schumer!) I'm sure AIPAC would love that.

You were so smart, so lively, beyond belief

You were my shadow, my friend, a reason live

Six years never felt so full and yet so brief

For a single minute more everything I would give.

The house has been frozen in time since that day

toys still scattered, clothes unwashed, grass unmowed

It's haunted by a ghost, filled with regret, guilt and dismay

reliving over and over what happened in that road

But although you weren't here very long

you taught me two things that only you could

that life is too beautiful to be given up on

and that bad can be chased away by those who are good

I will always love you Kola.
