This isn't for power peaks, it's for a temporary data center. There is nothing usual about it.

This seems to be disabled for me on mobile, but enabled on the desktop. Seems like a helpful feature, though they could've just done something like Firefox where it's an offline search for a website with the same starting letters.

Still, appreciate the writeup and trying to minimize data collection while calling a 3rd party service in the browser and the option to disable it.

Isn't stuff like this in the drake equation or something more up to date? Lack of activity or the right amount probably helps life.

The only viruses I ever got were on irc warez (pretty harmless too). I got smart by the time torrents came around. lol

I'm sure no more messy bleeding the brakes will be cheered by those who need to do brake fluids (I dislike doing it on my motorcycles). Multiple motors and pistons should still mean adequate redundancy, but more details from the manufacturer would be nice.

It's like brexit, but even slower and more of a clusterfuck.

This is only off putting if there weren't 3rd party apps and drivers, which there probably will be. Librepods made airpod premium features work on Android, no reason why it can't be done here.

Almost makes you wonder why class actions were gutted by the supreme court. Nobody is going to sue for 8k since hiring a lawyer would cost more, and a class action would be impossible to win. AG seems to have some power though.

There are also studies saying it can help regulate blood sugar.

You see, people keep complaining about Apple software, and defend their lock-in and lock-out practices at the same time. I just can't help but point out the options. Less futile than pointlessly complaining.

As the thread mentions, this is tinygrad only, no opencl as used to be possible. The equivalent would be vulkan or sycl today. It's also higher latency and less performance.
