Beekeeping! 🐝

Homies are dying off and it seems like a way to help them and the world at large, even just a little bit.

The bar for entry, however - having a property with a large open space + learning how to do it safely + general time & material resources + not having enough generational wealth to retire early and comfortably to do these things I'd like - means that it's unlikely to ever happen. The thought of it is nice, though.

What a reference. That's the first video game I ever played. Somehow it's still hard af as an adult. The visuals are great to this day imo.

Getting kicked out of the final level on beginner difficulty is a little patronising though. I'd be lucky to even get there on Beginner in the first place, would be a kick in the teeth after all that hard work

The degauss sound on a CRT display. The 'womp' is the best onomatopoeia to represent it.

Grim Fandango!

Never has a game made me laugh out loud like when I first discovered it. Clever humour, unique characters, and each line of dialogue is packed with effortless charm and wit. Not to mention the philosophical themes disguised as one man's quirky Day of the Dead -themed quest to get to the afterlife.

The puzzles are a product of its time so a walkthrough might be needed. But that's forgivable for the game's big picture.

Wish I could wipe my memory of it and play it all over again.

Same. I've finished Ghost of Tsushima and fell in love with it - it broke my heart to know that I'll never get to play Yōtei on PC.

I was even desperate enough to consider buying the fucking PS5 for it, but realised that this predatory tactic is exactly what Sony is counting on, and I refuse to let those scummy anti-consumer strategies take advantage of me and my love for the franchise.

I'm sorry, Sucker Punch; maybe another time. :/

He's having his (hate) cake and eating it too.

His true colours were yet to reveal themselves. Now you can see the size of the bullet you just missed.

I had a hard time thinking about this one. I figured that I didn't consider anything too mundane to get excited about. I'm just grateful for everything, for every moment of peace and happiness I get.

Saved. Working on being honest with what I want. Hoping we get the happiness we all deserve. One of these days...

That's awesome. I guess he passes the armpit test? Haha

But seriously that's super cool and we need more of that. Keep your wits about you, naturally. You've got a few hours to kill beforehand so feel free to do some community service with more anxious but based hornyposting ✌🏻
