Dead Set was a bit of fun too

Have you looked at this?: https://dortania.github.io/OpenCore-Legacy-Patcher/ I used it on my 2015 iMac and it runs the latest OS well.

We watch it every Christmas Eve, it's great.

But why? I drive an EV and it's way better than a manual (I'm getting too old for that crap), and nothing like an automatic.

Plus putting your foot down in an EV and letting it rip is like nothing else, gears would ruin that fun.

It's a confusing article, the game he talks about on Mastodon (Death By Scrolling) has just been released. There was another game he stopped dev on: https://mastodon.gamedev.place/@grumpygamer/115657740122347206

Is that a little cat's paw button behind the keyboard? What does it do?!

Very (and honestly as a former UKer they're better)

I'm pretty sure the laptop I installed Debian on has an Nvidia GPU and it was pretty easy to install the drivers, and I'm very much at the tinkering level than an expert.

I've tried a few different distros that always seemed to have one issue or another, and they were all based on Debian. So I just tried Debian instead and it's good, I'm not sure what the other distros are adding.

I've lived in Britain and Australia and I've never seen this, and both places have good spicy food so I assume they didn't sell well.

Bad Religion are working on a new album too

I have a 2015 iMac 21.5" that has slowly ground down to crawl. I had this great idea of installing macos on an external SSD (Kingston 2TB) and run it from there instead but no matter what I try I can't get it to work.

At first I downloaded the installer for Monterey but the HDD isn't great and it kept crashing and restarting partway through.

Then I tried installing to the SSD from Recovery (internet recovery wouldn't get past wifi choice so had to use non-internet) but even though the installation went ok it continued to boot from the HDD and in Startup Disk the SSD wouldn't show at all.

Then I made a USB boot stick and did the same steps above with the same result.

The SSD has GUID map and I tried both Mac OS and APFS formatted.

Does anyone have an idea what might be going wrong? Thanks in advance!
