Probably Sekiro and Metaphor Refantazio, though I'm a bit over From Software style games at the moment.

I finished a rerun of Dragon Age 2 which I love (ppl rate it the worst - not meee) and jumped on to Dragon Age Origins, which I have never finished and I'm struggling... Just not my bag.

Doesn't help that its the PS3 port, with a UI not designed for a controller (the sequels were much better in this regard) but yeah... not sure if I care enough to complete it :/ At least it doesnt have busywork.

Personally always found ME1 a little rough around the edges still enjoyed it and the plot was great. Andromeda was a swing and a miss.

Subscriptions suck. Have always sucked.

I note one of the recommendations from the article is still drumroll subscription based while the other one is a one time purchase.

The OG Xcom and Terror from the Deep are the classics. The new 20XX ones are fine, if streamlined additions Haven't felt any need to revisit apocalypse though.

This is what I love to see niche instances that specialise in an area rather than trying to be another generalist / reddit. At this stage you’ll prob need to fight discoverability issues. Cheering for ya.

Love that projects like this can exist.

Apparently - the complete session recorded by the Butthole Surfers on 20 September 1988 for the John Peel show on BBC Radio 1 and broadcast on the 27th of that month.

havent watched the whole 2 hours yet but so far full of interesting details - e.g. I had no idea Rubin did the guitar on the Beastie Boys No Sleep Till Brookln.

Very atmospheric this one -

From the album Absolute Elsewhere.

Havent listened to much Blood Incantation but am finding this album a lot of fun.

I havent really had a chance to hear the new album but the first thing that registered were the use of the harsh vocals. (Note, havent heard in cauda much).

This Sputnik Review which contained the following:

  • He (Åkerfeldt) talks about it cynically in interviews, saying that it feels like the growls are all anybody ever cared about in the band’s music. And it seems like this is a little bit true, at least for some fans; for a lot of people, the first reaction to hearing “Paragraph 1” was to proclaim that Opeth is “finally back,.*

I dont know what reviews were referenced, but if true, just curious as to whether prog listeners agree that it was always about the growls... Lets face it metal fans can be heavily OTT with change.

Quite funny how all recipe posts have (frustratingly) a ton of content before you get to the recipe I assume to assist with ranking on their search and then Google just lifts the good stuff.

I wonder what the site gets as part of the agreement.
